11  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / NEW ZEALAND / Re: Craft Group in Wellington on: March 17, 2010 10:22:10 PM
Cool.
What kind of crafts do you guys make? I mostly make perfume and stuff with EOs so not sure if that is terribly easy to bring along to meetings but would be cool to meet you all.

I just introduced myself in the beauty and bath forum as I didn't know this was here so here I am saying hi again. Smiley

I mostly make perfume and natural body products with EOs. Great to be here!

I don't know if you've checked out the New Zealand board, you can find it here:

Ooh thankyou! No I didn't know it existed as I'm only just trying to find my way around. Thanks for the link. Smiley

Hi Miss Bloom! Welcome to Craftster! So, I'm really bad with time zones, it's 9 pm here, is it daytime there?  Grin

Can't wait to see some of your goodies!  If you have any favorite New Zealand suppliers please let us know and we can add them to the supplier list.
Than you for the warm welcome MareMare Smiley

The time is currently 5.30pm Thursday afternoon.

Are there many NZers on here do you know?

15  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Brainstorming solid perfume scents... on: March 17, 2010 08:40:00 PM
Just adding my 2 cents to an old thread.

I think it is quite good to have a few fragrance families to choose from.
I would usually have something in each of these categories :

Fruity
musky
floral
green
foody
spicy
earthy

My most popular creations tend to be sweet comforting vanilla type frags and also rich, ambery earthy types heavy on the patchouli.
Next most popular are fruits and florals.

Just wanted to say hi to all you creative souls. There is some wonderful stuff here and I can't wait to read through it all and hopefully do some posting of my own.
I'm saying hi here as I mainly make perfume and perfumed products (natural with EOs) and natural beauty and bath stuff too.
Looking forward to getting to know you all.  Smiley
