I just finished these Pittsburgh Steeler Coasters for my DIL !

I used 4x4 stone tiles, tissue paper, mod podge, and krylon clear coat. Backed them with adhesive cork to protect furniture !

Hubby & I celebrated our 14th anniversary at the end of April. He loves all things native American so I wanted to give him something with that theme, yet something that really meant something as well.

I went to a local Native American themed gift shop and purchased 4 Spirit / Blessing Stones. Each one has a different meaning and I chose ones that I felt showed how I thought of him. I didn't really think he'd be big on just carrying around 4 stones in his pocket or just tossing them on his dresser so I wanted to turn them into something he could look at daily.

I hit Michael's and picked up 4 wooden frames, a bag of stones, and a container of resin and I was set Smiley

I took each stone and glued it in the center of the frame then put stones all around it. I then poured resin in to secure all of it in place for basically forever Smiley Attached the frames with jute twine and voila, a wall hanging.

Please excuse my laundry room door LOL That's not where this hangs permanently !

This is a checkbook cover I just finished. These are soooo easy to make even for a sewing twit like myself Smiley
