I am so freakin' disgusted Sad

I claimed Babalina for a wooden sign she had on her list and after much frustration I finally got it going. Painted it red like she asked, put the lettering on, and then yesterday just before we left for bowling I sprayed on the sealant coat. Figured it would be all ready to package up and mail out today....

Well this is what I found when I went into the craft room this morning to get the sign and get it ready to mail Sad

See the bottom ? Looks funny doesn't it ?

The sealant like bubbled Sad It's a freakin' mess all along the lower part of the sign.

I was ready to cry because there was so much headache with even getting this thing started...my router broke ! I didn't even think I was going to be able to do it for her, then had a brain storm and was so happy....now this happens.

Looks like it'll be a couple days late Sad I'm going to have sand it all down and start over from the beginning.

I did this bag for a friend in a swap here...haven't sent it out yet, will go out on Monday, sure hope she likes it !

Bag measures about 9" across on bottom and 12" on top, it closes with a magnetic snap and I put 3 small pockets inside.

This is my first bag of this size and the first time I tried using 2 different fabrics for the outside !!

46  Denim Jeans Apron in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Dawl on: March 10, 2011 06:16:53 AM
So hubby and I are getting ready to move in the next few months and we have to somehow fit the contents of a LARGE 3 bedroom house into a small, itty bitty, 1 bedroom house ( think cottage ). We know this can't be done so we're starting to slowing weed thru things here and start downsizing so we're not overwhelmed at the last minute.

Tuesday we decided to tackle our closets....we found a few pair of brand new jeans in DH's closet that didn't fit him and we were going to toss out. Then I had a light bulb moment and said NOOOOOOOOOO ! I can't make something with those ! He just looked at me like I had 8 heads and said whatever Smiley

So I cut and sewed and added some awesome rhinestone bling and ended up with this apron Smiley Nothing fancy but I sure think it's cute !

I know Banga received the items I sent her for round 67 earlier this week, but I imagine things are getting a bit busy around her place waiting for the little one to show up Smiley

I'll post the pics I took before I mailed and Banga, if you have better ones, please feel free to post them Smiley
