I borrowed the One Yard Wonder book from a friend because I wanted to make the car trashbag for my new car. I had some skull and crossbones fabric that I was saving to use for a project just like this! The bag originally is unlined, but I used a lightweight gray ripstop nylon for the lining: Since there was a lot of fabric left over I made a matching steering wheel cover and padded seatbelt sleeve:
I combined features from wallets I have been looking at over the past week and created this mermaid wallet: The inside has 6 card pockets and three long pockets on the other end for paper money, coupons, repciets, etc.: The back has a fully lined coin pocket: There are a few things that didn't turn out quite right (I am a perfectionist), but overall I think it came out ok. Thanks for looking
This is my first attempt at a large, long wallet: The front: Inside: Checkbook pocket: Place for bills and coins: Another zipper pocket on the back: Thanks for lookin!
I found this Japanese squirrel fabric and went to town making stuff out of it! I made a utility pouch for my backpack: with my junk in it: It turned out a lot roomier than I thought it would be!! And a small wallet to throw in my bag when I go play rugby:
