inspired by the various other craftsters who've made brain slugs, i decided to make my own! for the uninitiated, brain slugs are from futurama, and they feed on your brain waves. let's all go to the brain slug planet and walk around without helmets on! i also based the body of pepperkitty's octopus, and he turned out so tiny! poor little guy is pretty malnourished from sitting on my head. or perhaps i should've just used bulkier wool and a bigger hook. who knows?

he's a christmas present for my dad, and since he turned out so wee i'm now on the hunt for a suitably themed mug to pop him into. daddy dearest is a major tea drinker, so i think he'd appreciate it. and he has to like the brain slug, because he is bound to like all crappy things i make him. he still uses the van gogh sunflower paperweight i made him when i was 4, even though it does look like a dirty fried egg.

i used patons faiytale colour 4 me yarn, and a 0.4mm hook. thanks for looking!

i'm stoked about this shirt. i'm so stoked that i'm putting this on craftster when it's not even dry yet  so... stencil of the logo for the band the briefs, on an old reconned shirt. stencil's from stencil punks. it's pretty plain, but this is my third stencil and i thought any more would be to much, what with the polkadots and all that

I've wanted to try stencilling for a while, and I finally got round to it tonight. There's a few messed up lines and bits of paint, but they're barely noticeable and I'm pretty proud sorry for my awful photography, I guess that's what I should try and learn to do next...

I'm not old enough for a tattoo, and have no fixed ideas, but this one's currently floating round my brain...



It's just an image that I found on a vest online, but I really like the idea that even though my piercings aren't permanant and I might one day have to get rid of them, I could comemmorate them permanantly somewhere on my body  I really love my piercings. I wouldn't want it as creepy and skull-like as this though, just a simple BCR with the crossed bars underneath, and obviousley without the black surround. This is just a basic layout idea.

I've been seeing some really nice beaded things on Craftster, so I thought I'd try my hand at it... It's not so great but i'm pretty pleased with it

This is a pretty old pic, my hair's a darker shade of red now and much longer (and fatter). Before I got my hair cut like this it was down to my shoulders, and needed dying because it had gone an awful shade of I-don't-know-what and I never bothered with it so it just looked crappy. So haircut time! Wahey!
