1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Christmas Ornaments ;) on: December 11, 2011 02:15:43 PM
Well, it's been a while since I haven't posted anything. I guess it's because I haven't had much time for crafts.

So, I bought some Christmas ornaments to put in my apartment (it really needs some Christmas's spirit). But three of them were so ugly I knew I had to find a way to improve them. And I did XD

I got some shiny cyan thread, and knitted around. Like a doily, but in a sphere. And now I'm in love with them!

This is the before pic, though it looks better than in real life.

2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Tardis Christmas ornament on: December 19, 2010 07:03:19 PM
So, I wanted to make something new for our Christmas tree. And I have some blue acrylic felt (I dont know how else to call it), and I love Doctor Who
And here it is:  the Tardis with Christmas lights!

(I couldn't get the colors right, so the first picture is scanned, and the second it's with flash)

I know its a bit wobbly, but I love it.

And these are the ornaments I made for my sister last year: an crochet ball covered with sequins and small beads:

Hope you like it  Wink
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My first ear flap hat! on: August 06, 2010 08:25:20 AM
A couple of months ago I fell in love with this project: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=350203.0.

And I thought I could really use one of those hats, because the winter has been awfully cold, and my ears would really be happy. So I planned for two weeks, because I also wanted to use cabled diamonds, but first I had to learn how to make them...

And this is the result. I finished it four weeks ago, but I started wearing it immediately, so I didn't take any picture until today.

It covers my head perfectly, and it's really warm. And I can even tie my rebel hair with the tails.

I used little amigurumi balls to cover the braided tails,  and it looks perfect!

This is the first time I'm completely happy with a hat I made.  In fact, I fell in love with it too Cheesy
