wow great ideas...I think that the distressing idea should look pretty hot...just a thought...using children's t-shirts and adding strips of fabric looks cute and could solve teh lack of vintage  shirts...Imean who wears out shirts faster... luck be with you!!!

so I tried making reconstructing a couple of shirts like the http://www.mittenmaker.com site did but it wasn't teh same..I'm  very happy with my shirts though and I suggest that you should try this bcuz it really spices up a simple shirt

Well I can tell you one thing...girls wear belts the same way as guys...shame shame...anyway sounds like a really gret idea...and if you do find out how to make them you could write on it...wearing it better than a guy...lol well good luck on this...and I bet you could find a buckle 'clasp' thing in any old craft store...

well for a quick fix in stead of modge podge (sp???) I mix glue and water until it's paintable and liquidy...it tends to warp magaizine pictures though...well happy crafting....

Well I'm thinking that if you drill some small-ish holes (3) around the rim of teh shell and tehn a hole on the bottom in the middle...then attach two together be hanging the top one from a hook or something and stringing teh second one through the middle hole in the above...for a hanging _____holder...in my mind I see plants...well good luck!!!

if you have some barbies that either you  Wink or your kid has "grown out of" (kinda) you can pop off the heads and put them on teh tops of any plain old pens... at first it can be kinda freaky but very dun and easy...

what about chimes with guiter shaped metal peices hanging from teh string...
or a funky necklace with a pick and use the string for the nacklace part...I'm kinds in jewelery mode...

A great memory table would be fun... get fun pics and use a varnish and get them done there...an extra plus is that now it's water proof and wipeable in case of spills...
