Thankyou =]
First post and all, I could only do links of course.
Wow i like that dress too =D
I want to make a bunch in slightly different styles. I just need to sell some of my works for some money to buy fabrics >.<
My Gender challenged sister only has so many mens t-shirts she is willing to let me have.
I dont even have money for Goodwill shirts <.< that is a sad day, im going out of my mind with my limited craft supply right now.

So I know this thread has not been posted in since 2008 =] But i came across it as a new member and i just had to make one and post photos!
So here is my version! Done with some of my Sister/Brothers T-shirts (She's gender confused) ;]
I live in Washington state, but spring is right around the corner and I cant wait to wear this =D such a pain in the A$$ the first time making it though. Im going to make more and do a pattern as i go along so i have a template to go back to.
Im a tiny girl with a bit of a booty so i had to alter this a lot -.- Im thinking about adding a strap to make it a halter top, any comments? =]
Sorry for poor image quality, its awfully hard to take a photo of yourself in a mirror with a digital photography camera on its professional settings =S Would have used the timer but it takes too long to get a photo right with that.

This took 2 large boys t-shirts and a little from a Medium boys t-shirt for the skirt

I took the hem from the white shirt and threaded it through the top so it stays on my boobs and doesn't slip down =X, I like most everything to tie in the back, though it would probably be cute tied in the front too!

Like I said, little girl with a booty <.< I had to alter the pattern to make room for it...It may not look big in the photo but the dress thought it was when first sewn together -.-
