1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Carson's Mario World Nursery **pic heavy** on: April 05, 2010 07:32:27 PM
My husband and I are doing the same nursery theme for our upcoming son Oliver. We're in the middle of painting the background mural (he wanted to use the rasterbator but I thought paint would look better/withstand a toddler when he grows.)

It's nice to see another couple had the same rocking idea we had!
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Nintendo Baby Name Art on: March 04, 2010 08:54:57 PM
My baby is due in May and my nerdy husband and I decided on a Super Mario/ Nintendo themed nursery. Because of this unconventional choice I am making pretty much everything for his room myself. These letters are going to be affixed to a piece of wood and then hung on his door.

I bought the letters at Hobby Lobby and hand painted each one.

Enjoy the nerdy goodness.

I love these, especially the green one. I can't believe you did them with sharpies!

I have been looking for easy, crafty artwork for my new apartment and I think this is just the trick. Thanks for the inspiration! I hope you don't mind if I borrow your concept and tweak it for my own use.

I really want to try this. It looks so wonderful, especially with that particular quilt.
6  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: MEGA chain chomp bean bag on: March 04, 2010 08:44:21 PM
I am loving all these Mario themed crafts lately. If I had a car like that I'm not sure I could make myself take it out to put in a room. It looks too cool just driving around!

I am so jealous! This has to be the coolest coffee table ever.

This is amazing. You have given me the courage I needed to get a start on my homemade crib bedding!
9  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Re: Handmade Baby Sling! on: March 04, 2010 08:40:41 PM
I love this fabric! It almost makes me wish I was having a girl instead of a boy.

Thanks for the tutorial!
