Hi Again,

So Mothers day has just gone by here in the UK and I really wanted to make my mum something really special.  We are all going on holiday to Greece this summer for a family wedding and I knew my mum would need a beach bag - so I made her one - from this tute - http://stephblue.blogspot.com/2008/04/sling-bag-tutorial.html - really easy to understand - thanks StephBlue!  I changed it a touch - I doubled the size of the bag, and so gathered it to attach it to the strap and shortened the strap so it just sits under her arm, as I thought she'd prefer it that way.

I didn't make it fully reversible because I didnt have any red cotton to finish off the bottom *rolls eyes* probably the only colour I haven't got - and one which I use most often!

She was really pleased with it and I'm now comissioned for 2 more for other family members!

Good afternoon all - I am new to Craftster and up until now have been a lurker, not a poster, but I was so pleased with these bibs I made for my friends baby shower, that I thought I should share them.  We do not know the gender of the baby - so I thought I'd stick to something that could go either way - this baby will need some rock influence in it's life as well - as the new mum is NOT a rocker.  The pattern was taken from http://www.poopockets.com/free/bibs/bibs.htm - Bib B - really easy to make.

The label rag is my familys version of a taggie rag - my Nana used to make them for me when I was a baby as whenever anyone held me - I'd half strangle them going for the silky labels.

My friend was really pleased with them (I'd like to think more pleased then with any thing bought) and I was shocked that something I'd made had made her so happy.
