I loved "SpookyPooky" One Tiny book Swap"so much that I copied most of it for My Daughter's Birthday Oct 13 th. She Loved it & she is now getting into making cards, so I'm so happy. Anyway here is My version of her book. I used feathers instead of lace & a few other things too. So here it is:
I know it's not as good as "SpookyPooky" She's just great at all her work!!! But I think it came out pretty good! What do you all think?
My partner has all ready received. So I can show you my tiny book I made for my partner!!! My First one on a swap. The front & back are like the Teesha Moore quilted pillows & I made a Bird in the quilted fashion also with feathers. It's part of a Bird book with other things in it too!!! Lots of pics.
My One tiny Book with a removeable Bird on the front.
The pic on the right I drew, I Loved the those eyes so much. Just drew them alone & tried different hairdos & I like this one the best. Sorry It's a bit blurry.
Just some pockets & quotes.
Quotes & a pullout.
A kooky funny bird & on the left a pic I drew from a magazine, I really like it.
This is the quilted pillow back, embroidery a spiral circle. Tell me what you think? Thanks for looking!!!!
Hi there, this is a Grundle, a cat one, because where she's going they have a great yellow stripe cat, a lover. The new baby came early so I had to get done with the items I was making. A Diaper bag & wallet is on the purses, bags & wallets thread. This is my 2nd Grundle I made one for a swap. They're fun not to hard, the pattern has different ears, faces & bellys. Mix & match different fabrics. Mine is made from fleece & the same fabric I made the inside of the diaper bag & wallet & felt. So here she is.
Sorry it's burry, it says Natalie in the heart & below says Grundle & my Name. So what do think, Thanks for looking!!!
Hi everyone! This is what I've been working on. A friend was having a baby in June. Well there was a bit of complications & she had to be induce early. She & the baby are fine. She was born May 27th so I had to get my sewing done. Some were done but a couple of things were not. I made it like one on craftsters.
I made my own pattern, couldn't find anything close to this. So I quilted the pink fabric, that was interesting, I don't think I ever did that before. It was kind of fun I just did it free hand on the machine. I was running out of the grey corduroy so had to make it skinny & tall. I used a hair band & button to close. I put lots of pockets in it too. The strap is very long so it can go over her head. I think it turn out pretty good. My friend loved it all.
This is the inside, pockets & a key holder, & wonder wallet peeking out of the pocket.
This is all the things I made or had for her.
This is how I wrap it in the 2 receiving blankets I made & one in tissue paper. Well what do all think? Thanks for Looking.
Hi everyone, I just finish my Poppet for the Plethora of Poppet Swap. This my first Poppet, It was a lttle hard for the first one, but it turned out pretty good. So any suggestions will be apprecitated. My partner had a few requests & one was a "Rock Star" So here she is.
This is all the things I gave her. My partner said she really like everything! I gave her extra fabric to make more oufits, 2 packages of button covers for joints, a card with the pic of her "Rock Star"choice, a Adoption Certicate, a owl stufie, & a wired heart I made.
I embroidery on her arm, from her finger up her arm to her shoulder & she can bend her fingers. On the other arm I embroidery just the upper arm all around & she has a bracelet with a moon charm & a ring with a flower on it on her finger.
The Vest was supposed to be a Jacket but couldn't get the sleeves to work so I made it a vest & I like it even better. So how do you think I did for the first Poppet? Thanks for looking!! I had a lot of fun. Also learned a lot from other craftsters.
I just love these little owls. These are from BBDesigns. I change them a little. The first one I made a mistake on top of his head so I gave him hair. the second one i change the eyes & I did more embroidery on the eyes & put a yellow circle behind the black pupil which I embroidered. The key chain I think is cute instead of a embroidered pupil, I sewed on a bead. Comments welcome!! Thanks for looking.
The pink & black poka dot one is going to a new baby & the key chain is also going to the mother.
This is the bunny I made my for my sister's B-Day. This is where I found the pattern>www.karunui.blogspot.com It was pretty easy. It has a pocket in front, so I put a chocolate egg, a small sewing kit & a nail file & buffer in it. Also made the card. Hope she likes it. Any comments are welcome! Thanks for looking
Up closed pic .
Bunny with all his goodies.
I found out how to do this paper girl on craftster, I don't remember who. Please tell me what you think! Thanks
This is my other bag for the swap I was in>my partner really like it. It's a patchwork quilted bag like Teesha Moore makes & a couple of craftsters on here who make them too. So I wanted to try it. I really like doing this hand sewing & to embroidery on things. It was kind of hard, just took awhile, but well worth it. Even my husband like it. So I guess I'll have to make me one soon. So I hope you like it & tell me what you think!!! Thanks,
This is my other bag I made for the swap> It's like Teesha Moore's makes!
Up Close pic of the Elephant I drew & traced & embroidery it.
A close up of the eye.
Inside pocket & lining the pocket fabric is on other lining side.
This the pocket & the same fabric is on the other side of the lining.
This is the whole thing before I put the lining in & pocket & sewed it up. After it's all sewn together the lining, pocket & 2 rings for keys or to clip a handle on or tie a scraf/maybe a belt or whatever she>my Partner wanted to do!! Thanks for looking!!!
I made this purse for a swap, The pattern I use is on Craftster she redesign it from the Vera Bradley purse. It was pretty easy to do. I drew the elephant & then traced it on the fabric & then embroidery it. I love doing hand sewing. The worse thing I had trouble with was the zipper because of the fabric it had heavier threads going through the fabric & the zipper didn't like it. So next time I won't use that type of fabric for a zipper lining pocket again. So tell me what you think. Thanks
The Purse I made for the swap with the Elephant I drew & embroidery it.
Here's a up close pic of my embroidery Elephant
Inside purse with a zipper pocket & 2 open pockets & key chain holder.
The Wonder Wallet I made to match with key chain charm.
Wonder Wallet open.
This is the purse & all the things I filled it with.
I'm pretty proud of it even though I know it's not the best. What do you all think? Thanks
