Well I sent my questionnaire in, so I'll see how it goes.  I asked a couple questions. So I'll probably be  doing this until I get it all straight in my head. I'm excited too!

"BriannaB03" You did a great job on this bag! Very professional done. I've been wanting to make one too, but felt a little intimidated by the the piping & the pattern is a little expensive. So I'm going to alter another pattern kind of close to it. I want some pockets inside too! I know you like the cover zipper. But to me that's gets in my way & sometimes get caught in the zipper! I'd rather have it show & use a pretty zipper maybe a medal one not sure yet! But yours is great! You did a awesome job!

8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Bias tape Fabric Wallets on: July 14, 2015 07:03:24 PM
I've been kind of wanting to make the old Style of the 80's bias tape fabric wallets! I have the pattern. There are a few 0nline that I found. Also On eBay "Fabric Wallet and Purse Accessories by Lynn Paulin" for $1.99 which is cheaper than I bought it in the 80's! Mine was $3.50. I think you could almost change any wallet pattern into a bias tape wallet.
It could be a wallet size sewing kit, or manicure kit, or crayon & pad for a child kit, or things for your I pod & cell phone could fit too, etc.! I think it would be fun!  The only thing I would like this wallet/? to be is the use of bias tape!

We could say a bias tape wallet/? maybe with 3 to 5 things to put in it! We haven't had one of those for awhile at least I haven't seen one! I don't organize I would get all messed up! So if someone is willing to organize I would appreciate it! I will see if anyone is interested. We could wait till middle or end of August or September doesn't matter to me!

This one has a zipper in it. You can change things around or totally different.

Like this one, a coupon wallet  I made for someone I work with back then. It's a little harder to do, but not to bad!

These are some I made long time ago & used by me!

This one is open to show the inside!
Also you can quilt your own fabric or buy already quilted fabric & buy or make your own bias tape!
So What does everyone think?  I think it would be lots of fun! Here below are some bias tape wallets I found on line! Hope that helps!

Sharalee, I've never made one either, but I don't think it's that hard, and there are tutorials online on how to do it.  Besides, you are so talented, I'm sure you'd get the hang of it quick!  Wink

Thanks for the nice compliments Blush,Blush "LadybugsAnnBumblebees" Shocked I know how to make the TM Patches if that's was what you meant! I'm just having trouble with the claiming format or the format "RovingAarchist" mention which I think I like the best, if I understand it all! I'll probably like it whatever we do, it's just getting used to it! I'll be asking a lot of questions & calling HELP!!!!!!!!  lol!

I'm not sure about this, I have never done these & it's scary to me!  Shocked I think I need more that 2 wks.  to make 2 patches. "RovingAnarchist"  Your sounds a little better. I love making the TM Patches, so I'll see.  It just sounds so complicated to me!  Huh
I'll need some help figuring this out if we do it this way! I don't like change, sorry I'm getting to old I guess! LOL !  Smiley
