I am having a problem with an "accessory" that does not want to stay in place under the clothing, so I have to work that out...I like solving puzzles!

Thanks for your encouragement, Sharalee!  I will conquer it!  Love your hair!  I think I am going to get a cut like that for the summer...I am so tired of long, stringy hair...what is it called so I can tell my stylist?
Well it's just a layered cut. You see I cut it myself. So it's not the best. It has grown since that pic. Trying to grow it out. It was pass my bra strap before I cut it.

..  This is the whole pic with my brother.

. This is a little shorter.

This is more like my hair  now. I am a retired haristylist so I can cut my hair pretty good, until I got my shoulder surgery, but it's coming around & getting better.

Here's my pics from "crazyda79" She did a great job. The Alfred Hitchcock one is neat & will go with my TCM theme. Steampunk & the fall leaves are great too.  I love the kit too. Lots of charms, buttons & thread. Thanks so much!

I received from "teag" today. I love everything. Such lovely patches.  I love the owl patch, & the ticket one is neat for my TCM theme. The third is a Steampunk one is cool too! The kit is great. The fabrics I love, threre's sparkles in the fabrics. Then there's some finish pillows & one stitch all around. Then there some beads & buttons. Thanks so much "teag" can't wait to start making more patches.

Thanks so much again "teag"!

Hi all, I'm still in the hospital. Doing good, but took me off the button medicine & now just pain pills. But it hurts really bad right now. There's ice on it. Can't have my other meds for another hour. So I decided to look on here & see what lovely new patches are here!
"roler" They're all so beautiful & stitch so pretty. But my favorite is the bird one & I like to hang things over the edge too sometimes!!! A awesome package! Wink

This is me after my surgery yesterday. Not beautiful but doing OK!

I found my old Topsy Turvy doll & pattern. This would be fun.  I think it would be better to have this swap later too & lots of time to make it too!  So heres's the doll my Mom in the 80's & the magazine the pattern was in.

Sorry they are crooked. i tried to change it but wouldn't work. So hope you like this. I might try & make one to see how it will come out. Thanks for looking. This swap will fun when it gets going!

I've started on a patch & like you all have done things. I have done most of them. Seams like it gets a little wonky no matter what we might do. I do have patterns I made from cardboard but don't always use them & just use what ever shape my fabric is & use it. But if my partner wants a special shape then I'll make it. But I kind like it wonky. That's what making the patches by hand is. If we wanted it all straight & accurate we'd sew them on our sewing machines. Embelish just the front with the felt or fleese behind it, then when done put the back on & turn under once or twice it might be a little less wonky. You have to try different ways & find out what each individual likes to make. Mind are wonky sometimes straight & neat. The different fabrics makes a difference too.

This is alittle wonky of one I made.

The is a kit I received.

OK I took pics of all my TM Patches & kits of fabrics, laces, embroidery threads, buttons & charms. I can't remember who made what, but I'm sure some of you will find there patches in there. This is so fun. On the the size question, I make mine between 3"x 3" up to 5"x 5" since i usual turn the edges under twice I need a little more. I also make some 3"x 4"or 5" & circles too. It depends on what your partner wants too.
OK Here are the pics.

The 2 big ones in the lower right corner are ones that i made for my bag & will be pockets.

I found the first Swap that I was in here on Craftster. It was "Make a Purse & Fill It Swap" I made a small TM Patch purse. My partner liked elephants so I embroidered a elephant  on one of the patches. It was all lined & a pocket inside.  This was the first time I had ever made the pillow patches & sewed them together. It fairly came easily together. I loved making it.

I couldn't get this turn around. This turned out pretty good for the first time making it all by hand.
