21  Re: Purse Craftalong-2013, 2014 in Craftalongs by Sharalee on: February 20, 2014 08:41:53 AM
Ok here's the patch pouch that I made for my Daughter's Birthday. She asked me if I was going to make something for her Birthday & I said I didn't know if I had the energy or wanting to do anything. But I got to thinking & I had 1 patch done that I made for my bag but wasn't sure I wanted for that. So I had 1 patch done for her pouch it was Kittys, so I made another patch, It was 1 cat but a Steampunk cat!!

Thanks for looking!!!

Well I'm behind too! All the bags are just wonderful here since I haven't been on here for over a year! Never finished my TM bag but did make one for my Sister last March started it & her B-Day Was April 17 didn't finish until I think June. It was her 75th Birthday! So mine didn't get finish. Then I had Health issues. So now just came back on here in Jan. 2014.  So maybe I can get my TM bag done this year!  I'll try to find pics of my Sister's bag. Here they are, I made her a Dotee doll too!!

She really loved it & couldn't believed it was all hand sewn except for the strap!

She loves Hummingbirds!

This is the back side!

Thanks for looking!

24  Re: Make a Purse & Fill It Round 7 in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Sharalee on: September 02, 2013 08:48:56 AM
I sent my questionnaire in, this is going to be so much fun!!   Grin  Can't wait for Partners!

"Electric Dreamer" You could have it made for someone else & give it away!  I do the same thing with the little pouch but I still like to have bag/purse for when I go out somewhere or maybe on a trip.  Hey maybe a bag for your crafting or a travel bag would be neat. Just some ideas!
Here is a bag I got from a swap that "tenitsu" gave me & I love it. I use it for my craft projects.

It has a lot of pockets on the outside.

Very roomy inside too! She got it off of my Pinterest. I think the tutes are on Craftster's

26  Re: Art Dolls 2 - Send out July 7th in The Swap Gallery by Sharalee on: July 20, 2013 10:39:35 AM
I just received a PM from "pioneer9" that she received her package & wants me to post pics as she doesn't have a camera. So here goes! She is suppose to be a celestial Art Doll as one of Pioneer's requests. I stamp moons & stars on her body & arms.

She can sit on her knees.

Up close pic of her face, still learning to draw & sculpt faces.

The back of her on her knees, her bow/wings can be removed & so can her skirt.

These are the patches for the extras we decided to give & I put 2 flat quarters in too for taking so long. Hope you like her! Thanks for being my partner. She was fun to make!

27  Re: The Ongoing Poppet and Punkin-Along in Craftalongs by Sharalee on: June 30, 2013 01:13:08 PM
Hi all! I was in the Poppet Mini Swap so I thought I would put some Pics in & show her on here.. My partner "Tenitsu" wanted a Anime Poppet & by the way the doll she has posted to show her eyes is mine & I love her so much & her eyes in person are so fabulous! "Tenitsu"  is a awesome sewer & very crafty. Anyway getting back to talking about her Poppet. I don't know much about Anime Dolls I looked & looked on line & on her pinterest I found Maya. So I tried to copy her & I think she turn out pretty good & my first time painting & using felt tip markers. It's not perfect but it's OK. So here she is!!

A close up of her face.

A close up of her pleated skirt I haven' made one of these in years & I just made it up so each pleat is a little different size.

Her top is the heel of a sock so I just turn a hem down & put a pink ribbons on each side & tied in back. The panties is a ribbon like 'Tenitsu" made panties for my Poppet so I copied hers. Pretty good Idea! Thanks "Tenitsu"
I also made her a belt with a sword & sheath with jewels on it & a pouch with jewels in it all hanging on the belt & flip flop as sandals! Her fingers has pipe cleaners in each one & a ring on left hand!  Cheesy

30  My Poppet mini Swap for my partner in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Sharalee on: June 23, 2013 12:39:50 PM
This is the Poppet I made for the "Poppet mini Swap". My Partner wanted an Anmine Poppet so I went on line & look over a lot of pics & she had a few on her Pinterest that I finally took one of her pics she was called Maya!

This is the first time I drew the eyes on. It's not great but OK. I was a nervous wreak doing it then after OK.

Her skirt was kind of hard, I haven't made a skirt in years & pleated to boot. I Just made it up no measuring the pleats & they aren't all even, but it turn out pretty good. Her top is a heel of a sock I hemed all around & stretchy einough to pull it on & then I sewed a ribbon ties in front & tied a bow behind her neck. Her sleeves are just triangles so it worked. Then I made a sword & a sheath to go into with some jewel stones on it. Then I made a bag & put some pretty jewel stones in there & hung both on her braided twine belt. And flip flop sandals. It work for me. Also she has pretty panties made of ribbon. My partner made my dolls panties like that so I copied hers.
Here she is in her top & panties.

Thanks for looking!!!  Grin
