Leftovers, Etc. in St. Charles just might be the place for you! This is a non-profit organization that specializes in the creative use of everyday items in the effort to preserve the beauty of our natural resources. Fill a shopping bag for only $7! If you would like to know more about Leftovers, here is a link to their website: http://leftoversetc.com/.
2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / Where To Find Things To Recycle / Listia on: January 11, 2010 07:00:48 AM
Hi, this is a new site I've just gotten involved with. It is a free auction site where you earn credits to pay for items. Shipping can be free, as well, but sometimes you have to pay shipping. If you live in the area of the 'seller' you can just pick it up. Here's the web address: http://www.listia.com/?r=25904

4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / How's About Another A Series of Unfortunate Events Swap on: September 22, 2007 12:25:15 AM
I know it's been a little over 2 years since the original swap. But the book series is so inspirational in the way of crafty goodness. Is anyone interested? Please let me know so I can post sign-ups.
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / My First Jewelry Class on: May 03, 2006 05:57:38 PM
I will be teaching my first jewelry class this month. What should I be charging for the class? Any pointers would be very much appreciated.
6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Fixing Multiple Entries on the Swap Feedback System on: February 24, 2006 10:04:26 AM
How you go about fixing this? When I started the swap I entered all the swap participants' names in the feedback system. Then when the swap was over I added everyone's feedback, but somehow one of the participants' feedback is listed as both "positive" and "in progress". This has never happened to me before as a swap organizer, so I have no clue how to fix it.
7  Calls for Swap Angels / Swap Angel Archive / Ziploc Doodad Swap Round 3 - FOUND!!! on: December 30, 2005 08:20:16 PM

Here is the original swap thread:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=61705.0

and here's the gallery: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=61705.0

8  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / [ACCEPTED] - Suggestions for the new bookmark feature on: December 22, 2005 05:21:30 PM
Personally, I think it would be nice to have labelled folders in your bookmarks, so you could find a specific project more easily.
9  CRAFTSTER CRAFT CHALLENGES / Craftster Craft Challenge Theme Ideas, Etc. / What else can you do with a record? on: December 22, 2005 11:17:09 AM
When it comes to using a record for crafty purposes almost all of us immediately think bowl, clock, or purse. I would love to see a challenge where everyone comes up with something far from the norm for vintage vinyl.
10  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Scavenger Hunt Swap? on: December 16, 2005 08:18:48 PM
You know those crafty items that you've been looking for forever, but can never seem to find. The main idea of this swap is that you and your partner will be helping each other find the items on the other person's list and when the search period is over you will be swapping the found items.
