21  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Teesha Moore #4 - I'm running out of creative titles already! on: April 14, 2011 02:28:00 PM
Amazing! I love this! I am more of a crocheter myself, but I'll have to give this a go... as soon as I have enough material that is. You must have so much: all those different fabrics, colours of embroidery floss (?)... Wow.
22  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Baby Sloth Plush! on: April 08, 2011 11:37:41 AM
Great job! My bf saw this from a distance: "Oh, this once was a towel you say, I thought it was a real sloth!"  Grin
23  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: House warming/birthday gift on: April 08, 2011 03:34:01 AM
It's beautiful. You work fast, don't know if I would get this done in 3 weeks!
24  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Moorish Mosaic Afghan from Interweave Crochet Magazine Issue Fall 2009 on: April 03, 2011 04:04:48 AM
@Seijmara: thanks! She is very happy with it.

@Granite_turtle: thanks, it was fun to see it develop in different colours. Not so much different though, I took out the blue and swapped it for dark orange and green.

Hmm, that's strange! Perhaps compare hooks then, just to make sure. That's not what you'd expect if both say 5.5 mm, but if her octagon is 2 inches larger, I think you're right and her hook is probably bigger. Luckily she only did one!
25  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Discussion and Questions / Re: Safety Eyes? on: April 01, 2011 10:07:54 AM
I can buy them at my local yarn store, but like someone here said: that's much more expensive than buying them in bulk. I've bought my plastic safety eyes at www.glasseyesonline .com. Their Etsy store that is, but I cannot remember the link to that. They have a very large selection of eyes and teddy bear joints.
26  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: april fool's day revenge: hettie wants to keep her dignity this year on: April 01, 2011 09:54:53 AM
Cheesy Soooo cute, you must have taken lots of photos to get this done, or is she a natural model? Oh yes, I like the crochet, too  Wink
27  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Frog that old sweater and make a new one on: April 01, 2011 04:47:35 AM
Looking good! Great idea, too. I also have items that could use a re-do, so...
28  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Babette Blanket on: March 31, 2011 12:43:25 PM
I love your choice of colours! Very well done.

I've had this pattern for some time now and I definitely have to do something with it soon... as soon as the RSI like symptoms I have wear off  Wink.

Wow! These are amazing, I'll definitely take a look at that tutorial. I've never done anything like this before, but these make me want to!

Great job on all those colour combinations! Is the stash a little less giant yet, or...?  Cheesy
