1  Re: Mini 13 Days of Halloween Gallery in The Swap Gallery by hayleylujah on: September 14, 2013 10:32:34 AM
My own spot, yay!  Cheesy

Day 1:

Sorry for the awful pictures, it's raining outside so I had to do my best with indoor lighting.

Crocheted catnip eyes

A giant bag of Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish

Day 2:

A lovely fall wreath. The tiny corn next the pumpkin is my favorite part. Smiley

Day 3:

Sparkly pumpkin ornament, which is now adorning my bedroom wall.

Spooky wine charms. Too bad I'm only 19 and too young to drink. Cheesy But I have some thin bottles painted as "potion" bottles that I'll be putting these on.

Day 4:

Possibly the cutest sock monkey in existence. He's covered in little pumpkins and is now living on my shelf with the other Halloween stuffed animals.

Day 5:

A huge collection of Halloween fabric to add to my stash! I was just thinking about how I needed to buy some fabric for a Halloween skirt, but now I have some. Cheesy

Day 6:

I think this is my favorite thing so far. A skeleton sock "monkey"! It is too adorable and also reminds me of the tree spirits in Princess Mononoke.

Day 7:

Ghost socks

A sparkly vintage-looking potion bottle.

Day 8:

Beautiful hand-dyed yarn!

Day 9:

Supplies to make my own pretty yarn. Cheesy I am so excited to get back into dyeing.

Day 10:

A super cute Halloween kitty. I'll probably give this to my mom since she collects Halloween cats.

bunny1kenobi sent me an epic swap package!  Cheesy I squeed when opening it and plan on wearing both items to TMI midnight movie premiere.

Demon pox shirt, based on Will's rantings.

Runes bracelet. Much less permanent than tattoos.  Cheesy

Abbeeroad sent me a wonderful crafted item!  Cheesy It's hand dyed yarn with a Tonks theme. I couldn't wait to start knitting with it, so you can see I already began making a coin purse. Attached to that is also a Skele-Gro charm and hand stamped card.   Grin

leather and lace sent me the most AMAZING swap package!  Cheesy Seriously, she spoiled me rotten and is so skilled!

Alchemist bottles

Dragon scale bag, which is currently being used as my dice bag (and everything is with faux leather/suede!)

Alchemist bandolier for the bottles

And last, but most impressive, are these beautiful dragon ear wraps. The green one's hand popped off, but it is now hot glued back on.  Cheesy The detail on these are fantastic.

kbrison spoiled me rotten! She sent me an amazing MYB that I super enjoyed unraveling it and seeing all the goodies.

Look how nicely wrapped it is!

Super soft yarn, sock monkey coozie, two headbands, a sock monkey pattern book

Adorable monkey pillow case, monkey chalk board, chalk, monkey notebook and necklace, lemony soap, and farm animal buttons.

She really fueled my sock monkey obsession. Sock monkey fleece, buttons, pencil toppers, stickers, and key chain.

A beautiful bag, cow socks, cow tissue holder, monogrammed tissues, and library cards and card holders (for my personal home library).

I'm late posting pictures, but I loved the fabric from everyone! I really enjoyed this swap.  Cheesy

Nolansmomster was great and she gave an extra fat quarter!

A2K had a neat sewn card and my favorite fat quarter, the yellow with little leaves.

littlehajerika sent an adorable tiny card, plus some rad fabric.

Thanks everyone!

I received from Cherrylime and it was just a package of awesomeness!  Cheesy

First upon opening it I found the cutest Snorlax hat and matching mittens! I want it to get cold again so I can wear these out.

And then a sweet Snoozer (from Hamtaro) hoop. I love all the different fabric choices incorporated into it.

And lastly a craft for my super nerd boyfriend. It's a patch and I think that it has interfacing on the back to make it an iron-on. Since I didn't recognize what the symbol meant, I assumed it was from Mass Effect. When I showed him, he freaked out and said "Where did you buy this?! IT'S FROM MASS EFFECT!" So yeah, he obviously really liked it.

Thanks again, Cherrylime. Cheesy

I got this amazing package of Canadian snacks from Birdak!  Cheesy

Included are:Old Dutch ketchup chips, Ruffles All Dressed chips (which are very yummy), crispy potato chip covered barbeque peanuts, Coffee Crisp, Smarties, Kinder Egg (which had an adorable rhino toy inside), Evelyn's Spicy Dal Crackers, Canadian Maple Syrup, rhubarb strawberry jam (which makes a mean pb&j), Fruit and Fruit bar, and two Taste of Nature bars.

For non-food items she sent a lovely handmade notebook (with my initials on it), a Canadian flag patch, a mix CD with Canadian bands, and lastly a rock from there so now I have a piece of Canadian soil.  Cheesy

Thanks again, Birdak, so far everything I've sampled has been awesome and delicious.
