41  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Crochet Halloween Ghost in a Pumpkin House--Free pattern link on: October 01, 2011 10:51:06 AM

Just in time for your Halloween decor is Ghost in a Pumpkin House! This little guy wears the lid for a hat and his interior is a recycled empty toilet tissue roll. He just takes a 1/2 ounce of yarn and a G/4.00 hook. Fill him with small candies for an extra treat. The arms are made along with the body, so no sewing!

The pattern is free and I hope you enjoy making the project:

42  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Crochet Hook Wall Hanging with free chart! on: September 05, 2011 09:08:00 AM

This is a 4 inch by 30 inch wall hanging done in the single crochet tapestry stitch. I used an H/5.00mm hook and Red Heart Super Saver worsted yarn. It takes just a couple of ounces, an ounce for the background and less than an ounce for the hook image. You can  use up your scraps. I hope you like it!

43  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Toy Bag with free pattern links on: August 04, 2011 07:22:56 PM

Hi, I usually post in the crochet section but I've been sewing easy projects with my Hello Kitty sewing machine. I got an email about Spiffy Spaces and I thought I could clean up the the toy corner. I made a giant drawstring bag with the word TOYS appliqued to the front.
I made a free how-to if you'd like to make one for yourself.

Here is the article:

45  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Bookmarks for your knitting books--->Free printable download! on: May 22, 2011 01:09:03 AM

I made these bookmarks that I'd like to share with my knitting friends. There are five different vintage images with a little motto. I print mine out on thicker paper, like index card weight, but you could print them on regular paper then glue them to card stock or the back of an old card and cut out.
I hope you enjoy them!

47  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Chinese Take Out Box with Chopsticks Curtain on: May 11, 2011 01:33:06 AM

For your Asian themed kitchen I have designed a curtain or panel that measures 16x25 inches. The squares are 70x100. It's bigger than my usual projects in that it uses about 800 yards of thread, but the simple bold graphics won't make make you go crazy!
My stitch of choice is the extended double crochet and my hook is a #7 steel.

If you want to take a peek at the chart, it's free and it's right here:

This is an original design for an Owl panel that is sized 12x7 inches. It is 30 squares across by 50 squares high, quite manageable. I used #10 thread, my vintage Lee Wards #7 steel hook and the extended double crochet stitch. I really like the way he looks!

49  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Twirly Swirly Mini Clown Ornament or Favor--->Free link on: May 01, 2011 10:54:55 AM

This little clown is made all in one piece. He has no stuffing, is flat and fits into the palm of your hand. It requires no sewing either. I used multi-colored worsted for the body and white for the head. I used an F/3,75mm hook for the body and an H/5mm hook for the head. It just takes a few scraps to make it.
