I love all the hats I've been seeing on the board, so I thought I'd jump in with a hat I designed. It uses 2 types of yarn held together, a Homespun (fuzzy bulky weight) and a worsted weight, The hook I used  is BIG, so it goes super fast! It's only 13 rounds, but you could flair the brim out a bit more by adding an extra round with more increases. That's the beauty of crochet, you can do what you want!

I've been swapping squares for a long time!  It took me a probably 2 years to get all the squares that were just the right color. Then I did a granny type edging around them to get them all the right size. I put it together in November and it on my sofa since then. This wasn't my first Christmas afghan, I have another, I have to take a photo and will upload that one too.

Swaps are fun!
