Nice! I like how you used tassels instead of feathers.

That is so cute! How big is it? And I like how the lining makes the crochet pop!

Thanks! The bag is 10 inches wide by 15 inches tall. Yes, the dark lining really shows off the stitches.

I made this bag to match my Pineapple Stitch Hat pattern.
There are 2 rows of pineapples, it's made with 4 ply cotton yarn and an H hook.

24  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Ideas on what to do with this square? on: March 19, 2013 01:20:08 AM
You can still turn that square into a pillow. Take your square and lay it flat, wrong side up. Put a small pillow form in the middle. Now take each corner point and fold it to the middle. Sew up the seams.

Here are examples:

25  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Crochet pineapple stitch warm weather summer sexy beach hat ---> pattern link on: March 16, 2013 12:40:03 PM

One of the prettiest stitches in crochet is the pineapple. In this project, it is worked in the round. Here is a lacy hat, suitable for warm weather, which is crocheted in 4 ply cotton. There are plenty of open spaces and four big beautiful pineapples to show off. Can be made in less than two hours and uses less than one skein of thick cotton.

Materials: 1 skein of as Lily Sugar nCream4-ply cotton yarn, either the 2 ounce variegated or the 2.5 ounce solid color. You will need 1.4 ounces in color of choice. Models were made with colors Key Lime Pie and Red.

Is there any place I can find the written pattern?  I'd like to make a pair for a special gift.  frankiedavis2411@yahoo.com

Those are Pricilla's Hexagon boots:

If you go to Ravelry, you'll see that the high top variation is chatted about. You make additional hexes and then crochet a trim around the top.

Thank you! It looks complicated but is very easy to make!
28  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Striped T-shirt Yarn Rug on: February 28, 2013 04:28:15 AM
Can you explain the process for this? I am an experienced crocheted but am stumped with the details of no turning  Huh

I think what she did was chain a length, how wide she wanted the rug, then cut the yarn, leaving a length for fringe. Starting from the same edge, the right-hand side, attach new yarn, leaving a length for fringe, then crochet across/ Cut the yarn, leaving a length for fringe. Repeat.

I have a tutorial on how to cut t-shirt yarn here:
