I have some of this ikea fabric waiting to be made into a bag...yours is lovely!

Thank you!

When I saw the fabric I thought it just screamed bag, I'm glad I was right.

That's so cute! I'm not a teenager but I'd definitely wear these!

Really want to be skilled enough to make something like these!

Very cool! I love the surprise of the inside print. Great job!

I hadn't even thought about it like that and when I went back and looked at the pictures I saw what you mean, it's like the lining is jumping out which is fantastic.

Thanks for the lovely comment.

I love this tote. The fabrics are fab, especially loving the outer fabric. I'm think I need to go to Ikea now Smiley

I have to admit I was very surprised to see really funky fabrics at Ikea. Thanks for the lovely comment!

That's so cute! I keep thinking I need an apron so I don't spill on my clothes any more, this has definitely inspired me to make my own.

I have had the outer lining fabric for several weeks now, I bought it in Ikea with the plan of making myself a tote bag. I've made several bags and always as gifts and decided it was high time I made one for myself. Only I wanted to push myself. I wanted to create a bag with sides and a bottom panel.

Putting it together was insanely easy and because of how it has been sewn it could be reversible if I felt like it.

(My fianc being a delightful model lol)

I'm still contemplating whether to make some sort of decoration to add to the outside. I'm leaning towards definitely doing it and if I do I'll add pictures. Grin

I'm really pleased with the bag, I wanted something large enough to carry notebooks to the library and yet not too large that it looked silly against my small frame.

It has taken me forever and a day to upload these images because apparently the Craftster Photo Hosting site will only allow one image to be uploaded at a time despite having the option for at least five.

So many shiny things!
I am a big lover of shiny things and the amount of shiny in this entire swap pleases me greatly (is very sleepy, has just woken up).

He sits on my bedside table and stares at me as I sleep...he's so awesome! Tarmine has some seriously amazing crochet skills, she was an amazing swap partner!
