21  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / "In Case of Emergency" Money Holder for Gift Giving on: May 30, 2015 05:09:27 PM
I created this money holder for my teen grandson and he LOVED it!

I printed the axes (free images from google search!) on a textured cardstock and then taped the money in the center.
Next I printed the wording (using a stencil font) on a transparancy and stapled over the top of the cardstock and money
Finally, framed it in a frame from the dollar store!
Super easy, but it was actually appreciated!

22  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / OSO NEGRO - using Graphic 45 on: May 08, 2015 08:15:45 PM
LOVE Graphic 45 paper - but usually have a hard time using it in projects, but I think I nailed this time!  This is our lab, Cal - when he rolls around on his back and makes growly noises, we call him "Oso Negro" (spanish for black bear)

unforunately, today I got the news from the vet that his cancer is not treatable - - we will probably only have a few weeks left with this big ol lug of a loving dog!  My heart is breaking!!

I found a great little shop on Etsy called the crafty pickle that has the BEST flair!!  Here is one of my most recent layouts:

I love this cat.  I have had him since he was weaned was from his feral mother -- 15 years now.  He could seriously care less if I existed, but he can't get enough of my husband who didn't even come into to picture until he was 6 years  old - Look at this photo!  I adore him!

Inspired by Duck Dynasty - - the TNT / Firecrackers have rolled up money in them - always looking for a creative way to give money to the grandkids!

27  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / Another Cookbook page - 8 x 8 on: October 03, 2014 09:25:52 PM
I used Picassa to create a collage of my photos and then printed the collage as a 4 x 6 photo.

This is a very "loose" recipe - - so it is more like a technique!

Recipe:

Layer parchment paper on a cookie sheet
Layer graham crackers
Spread melted chocolate (milk, dark, white, candy melts - whatever floats your boat!) over graham crackers
Add your choice of crushed toppings:  Nuts, pretzels, m&m, reeses pieces, oreos, etc
Gently press toppings into melted chocolate
Refrigerate until firm
Break into pieces
Enjoy!
28  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / Dog with Eyebrows on: October 03, 2014 09:11:50 PM
I decided to chalk some eyebrows on my husband's hunting dog - - I thought it HILARIOUS!!  He not so much (until the next day when he was texting pics to all of his friends!)

Had to scrapbook it!!

29  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / My very first rag doll, my very first zombie doll - Thank you Craftster Members! on: October 03, 2014 08:59:11 PM
I recently joined a Zombie swap for Halloween - - and then PANICKED!  My partner wanted a Wednesday Addams Zombie!!

WHAT??? I have never, ever made a doll before, let alone one based on an iconic character AS A ZOMBIE!!

I am so happy for this forum! I "LIFTED" heavily from other member's designs and came up with a doll I was quite proud of!

Special kudos to Corrie Curry who I took the idea of inking the little hands of my doll!

My main doll pattern was from:  http://missgioia.com/2007/06/rag-doll-tutorial.html

The hair came from:  http://beccamariedesigns.blogspot.com/2012/03/how-to-doll-hair-tutorial.html Which I have to say, was the BEST hair tutorial for rag dolls!

The velvet dress was all me Smiley I kept the dress long - - about 4 inches past the end of the doll's feet to mimic an old fashion doll.

I was actually quite sad to mail her off!

30  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / "Cookies" Latest page in Recipe Scrapbook with Grandma's Handwriting! on: April 03, 2014 08:44:14 PM
Here is my latest page for my recipe scrapbook - - these are the cookies my G'ma loved and loved to make - - I scanned her handwritten recipe card to use and also put her personal tip (use chunky peanut butter and omit nuts!) on the yellow banner below the recipe.

It should also be noted that the cookies are photographed on a 3 tiered platter that my mom "purchased" using S&H Green Stamps in the early 60's - - one of my most prized posessions!
