2  "In Case of Emergency" Money Holder for Gift Giving in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Reel Crafty Girl on: May 30, 2015 05:09:27 PM
I created this money holder for my teen grandson and he LOVED it!

I printed the axes (free images from google search!) on a textured cardstock and then taped the money in the center.
Next I printed the wording (using a stencil font) on a transparancy and stapled over the top of the cardstock and money
Finally, framed it in a frame from the dollar store!
Super easy, but it was actually appreciated!

3  OSO NEGRO - using Graphic 45 in Scrapbooking: Completed Projects by Reel Crafty Girl on: May 08, 2015 08:15:45 PM
LOVE Graphic 45 paper - but usually have a hard time using it in projects, but I think I nailed this time!  This is our lab, Cal - when he rolls around on his back and makes growly noises, we call him "Oso Negro" (spanish for black bear)

unforunately, today I got the news from the vet that his cancer is not treatable - - we will probably only have a few weeks left with this big ol lug of a loving dog!  My heart is breaking!!

I love this cat.  I have had him since he was weaned was from his feral mother -- 15 years now.  He could seriously care less if I existed, but he can't get enough of my husband who didn't even come into to picture until he was 6 years  old - Look at this photo!  I adore him!

8  Another Cookbook page - 8 x 8 in Scrapbooking: Completed Projects by Reel Crafty Girl on: October 03, 2014 09:25:52 PM
I used Picassa to create a collage of my photos and then printed the collage as a 4 x 6 photo.

This is a very "loose" recipe - - so it is more like a technique!

Recipe:

Layer parchment paper on a cookie sheet
Layer graham crackers
Spread melted chocolate (milk, dark, white, candy melts - whatever floats your boat!) over graham crackers
Add your choice of crushed toppings:  Nuts, pretzels, m&m, reeses pieces, oreos, etc
Gently press toppings into melted chocolate
Refrigerate until firm
Break into pieces
Enjoy!

10  My very first rag doll, my very first zombie doll - Thank you Craftster Members! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Reel Crafty Girl on: October 03, 2014 08:59:11 PM
I recently joined a Zombie swap for Halloween - - and then PANICKED!  My partner wanted a Wednesday Addams Zombie!!

WHAT??? I have never, ever made a doll before, let alone one based on an iconic character AS A ZOMBIE!!

I am so happy for this forum! I "LIFTED" heavily from other member's designs and came up with a doll I was quite proud of!

Special kudos to Corrie Curry who I took the idea of inking the little hands of my doll!

My main doll pattern was from:  http://missgioia.com/2007/06/rag-doll-tutorial.html

The hair came from:  http://beccamariedesigns.blogspot.com/2012/03/how-to-doll-hair-tutorial.html Which I have to say, was the BEST hair tutorial for rag dolls!

The velvet dress was all me Smiley I kept the dress long - - about 4 inches past the end of the doll's feet to mimic an old fashion doll.

I was actually quite sad to mail her off!
