Oh my goodness, it's all so beautiful! Great work Jess! I wish I could make jewelry!

I-O!

Dammit, as a student there I'm honor bound.

Seriously though, you could make those and they'd be a huge hit on campus! I mean, people wear the scarves everywhere, but this is much more fun and clever!

I know, isn't it all lovely? Now I'm self conscious about how my stuff is going to look. Seems as though wool is becoming a theme though (yes, that was a spoiler!).

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! I just got the package and I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE everything!!!! I was having just a stupid sort of day and having this waiting for me at home cheered me up right away! It was ridiculous too because I kept pulled out the first thing and went "Oh man this is the best thing ever" until I pulled out the second and third thing and said the same thing!

Here's what Paige sent!

A lovely letter to verify that she is indeed, a real human being and not my imagination. Smiley

Monster pillow!!!! It's so cute, my daughter keeps trying to take it! I'm keeping him on my desk!

And you know, in case anyone was ever visiting and wondering just how big a nerd I am:
It's my favorite Latin saying, completely in green! It looks like she even painted the hoop! Also, this was immaculately done. Whenever I make something like this there is a "wrong" side which the world should never EVER see, but the back of this looks pretty good. (Jess, there is a wrong side to your big item. Just a warning. Smiley

And finally, proof that I am possibly the most spoiled swap recipient ever:

As a crocheter, I can tell that had to have taken much longer than a few hours, unless you work at the speed of light. The stitching is beautiful and the yarn looks like it might be sock weight? That couldn't have been easy! Anyway, it's beautiful and soft and I can't wait to wear it with my dresses during shows and around campus when I want to let people know just how much more fancy I am than all of them.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Oh man, the reality of how long it takes something to reach another country just hit me. Eeeeeeeee...I want you to have it nooooooow! Also, I think I missed the fed ex guy today, but at any rate we'll find out soon.

BAHHH! I LOVE ALL GREEN! FOREVER!!!!

Sorry I haven't checked back in a bit. MY quarter actually starts tomorrow, so I've been in panic mode for a few days! But, I'll be ready to send my gifts very soon! In fact, part of the reason I'm taking the bus this quarter is so I can craft on the commute! Can you believe all that time I was wasting driving? Lame! Anyway, take care ladies!

As promised:

Oh my god, what is that ugly thing? Ha! I promise, it recently got much cuter and is being made entirely out of my old pants! (After losing 100 lbs, I was kind of wondering what to do with them anyway, and frankly there is just a ton of material to work with)

No worries about colors, plenty of blues and greys, and very neat looking! I'm actually a little sad to part with it, but I'm pretty excited to see how you like it. This has been a little bit like crafting for the holidays, but instead of a "Oh, thanks. Cool." I'm crafting for someone who actually appreciates how much work this stuff takes!

I'm so excited!

It's been awhile since we've checked in. How are you guys doing? I plan on posting a bit of a teaser later, since I'm fairly happy with how my medium item is turning out. The longest part of the whole process was definitely making the yarn. Took forever and I got little tiny scraps of fabric all over me!

Anyway, I hope you guys are having good weeks, I hope peachy is having a good semester so far, and I hope everyone is having a good time crafting!

Hi Cassie! I'll see you at work tomorrow, I'm sure, but I'm going to tell you now, on Craftster, how I feel about your hat. Nice job on the cabling! I think that's in my ravelry too, but I still haven't gotten around to it. Anyway, good work and see you at work tomorrow!

This is so exciting! I'm ripping apart old clothes as we speak!
