6  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Waterproof Journal on: February 16, 2010 03:48:57 PM
oo sounds really neat! maybe you can look for waterproof paper too. i sail during the summer, and my friend introduced me to waterproof paper that you can write on with pencil. i'm not sure where you would get it though (she's from england, i'm in the US). maybe try a boating or marine store?
7  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: What to do with old business cards??? on: February 15, 2010 07:54:02 PM
If you have any magnet business cards you can either peel off the image or just glue a photo over it. As a kid, my parents would always do this and our fridge is covered in family photos! Solves the problem of trying to find a magnet to hang up a photo when the magnet itself is one!
8  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Discussion and Questions / Re: Getting guests to participate in Wedding Gift Scrapbook on: February 15, 2010 07:42:24 PM
This is such a great idea! I would love for someone to do this for me! Pictures are the best way to share memories.

I have done a bunch of scrapbooks and photo boards for family members birthdays. One piece of advice I would give is to raid the couple's house/parents houses for photographs to use. Its the best when the recipients of the book don't remember the pictures in it!
Maybe if you are a crafty person yourself you can offer to do some pages for people. I know that would be a lot more work, but if the guests gave you the pictures, paper, and accessories they want for the page, I'm sure it would be easy to put together. I know some people can perceive a good idea but can't put it on paper.

Hope this helps! good luck!
