1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Voidwalker from World of Warcraft on: January 09, 2009 04:23:36 PM
This is the little crochet voidwalker I made my brother for Christmas. I made him last minute, so I didn't have the right color yarn. I told my brother that I would make him another one in the right color. I got the best bright blue yarn for half-price the other day that is perfect! Cheesy I totally winged the pattern so the next one will hopefully look a little cleaner. Hee hee! Cheesy

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / World of Warcraft patterns? on: December 13, 2008 08:20:32 AM
I would like to make my brother a stuffed WoW something for Christmas but I can't seem to find any patterns. I really don't want to have to make up my own as that takes time I don't have. Haha! Cheesy

Anyway my question is, do you know of any crochet WoW patterns. I'll take anything WoW related really, though I am looking for a voidwalker especially. Ideas are very welcome. Cheesy

Thanks so much! I really want to make something special for him his Christmas. Something that he can show off to our cousins. Wink They also play WoW and one works for Blizzard. My brother often feels left out when they play at Christmas so I want something he can be proud of. Cheesy Thanks again!

Here he is a couple years ago playing WoW. Cheesy
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / What stitch is this? on: September 12, 2008 03:56:57 PM
I love this dress, and I was wondering what stitch was used on the bottom part. It's not my photo so I'm just going to link to it. Cheesy

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me.

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Cast Off? on: December 07, 2007 07:21:46 PM
Real quick, how do you cast off?

I'm working on the pocket elephant pattern (seen here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=206703.0)

In round 8 it says to cast off. I don't know what this means (though I'll probably know once someone tells me Wink )

Also what does D, C, B, A mean?

from:
Single st 4 (d,c,b,a) around chain in gap (the chain from st 1 to 26.) Cast off.

Thanks Cheesy Grin
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / sleeves and such on: November 06, 2007 02:18:46 PM
sleeves elude me. I can't seem to figure out how to do it. I know most of the stitches i just can't figure out how to put it together.

I want to be able to do a much simpler version of this: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6237523

or the top of this: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=7714164

Can someone help me figure out the sleeves and the neck hole. How would you go about this? Thanks!
6  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Zombie makeup and scary movie party, help! on: November 01, 2007 03:57:59 PM
I've been feeling kind of depressed since yesterday.

I feel like Halloween came and went without being very Halloween-y. It's the first time in 17 years that i have not worn a costume. Our school didn't let us dress up this year and Halloween was on a Wednesday. We also had almost no trick or treaters come to our door.  I love Halloween yet i haven't done anything. Sad

I'm having a scary movie party on Sat. and i need help making it more Halloween-y, only because i need a pick me up. have any ideas? I figured we would just watch movie and stuff so i figured that costumes would get in the way, therefore they weren't required. I'll probably order pizza for the main dish, but what about other stuff? i need easy recipes and decorating ideas. Also any movies we have to watch?

Also because of my Halloween depression i have decided to try and wear something more Halloween-y. I figured a zombie was pretty easy. I'll just do my face or something, so it doesn't get in the way too much. I want it to look realistic, but i don't know how to go about it as because I've never done anything like that before. I need all the advice you can give on this one. Cheesy thanks so much.

p.s. do you think i can still get stuff from the Halloween stores?

I don't like when Holidays don't feel the same anymore. Sad I don't wanna grow up.

Happy day after Halloween!

7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / My Sin (The Scarlet Letter) on: October 25, 2007 03:30:23 PM
In my English class we are reading the Scarlet Letter.

As a project we are going to be wearing our sins next week.

Everyone will know what everyone else's sin is because each letter of the alphabet has a sin. My letter is J. It stands for Judgmental.

We can either take of of the letters that our teacher provided or we can make our own. The letters supplied are a bit too much on the glittery side for my taste so i decided to make my own.

I need ideas on what to make it with and how.

I was thinking about either clay or shrinky dinks. I just don't know how i would go about doing that.

Thanks Cheesy
8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Crocheted Hat for Blythe on: October 05, 2007 03:48:25 PM
I made this hat after trying to make it for myself. I don't look good in hats, at all, but it was so cute I had to try. Anyway after I was sorely disappointed that it didn't work out for me I decided to try and make one for Aurora. It's based off of this pattern, which is super cute. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=143420.0

9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Headphone Sleaves la engrafted on: August 14, 2007 04:53:18 PM
So i saw this post here , and i was upset because i can't knit for shit. Anyway I was really jealous and so i decided to try to do a crochet version. Mine are thicker but i like it that way. It's added protection from the vicious beast which is my cat. He's already mutilated 3 pairs of my headphones Sad. I also love them because they don't get tangled up as much. Cheesy Enough of my babbling here they are:

10  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Crochet skirt for blythe on: July 30, 2007 04:14:37 PM
I just received my first Blythe doll today. While waiting for her to arrive i made her a skirt. I just guesstimated on her size and it fits perfectly. Her name is Aurora, and I'm so excited that she's finally here! Grin There are slightly more pictures than needed because i think she's so adorable and i can't stop looking at her Grin.

One non-skirt picture because she's such a cutie Cheesy
