1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Hooded Baby Blankets! on: July 03, 2005 12:14:36 PM
ok this is a practical question for all you moms out there as well as people who have given the hooded baby blankets...

are they useful?  Is it useful to have a hood on your babies blanket, or would you just recommend doing a regular baby blanket instead?  I think these blankets are very cute but I don't know if they have an pracyicality....? what do you guys think? Huh
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Law and Order Swap Round Two? on: June 30, 2005 10:06:34 AM
I'm dying for a l&o swap TWO! I know a lot of people commented in the gallery that they would also be interested but would anyone be interested in organizing the swap?  I'm still a bit new to the swapping so i don't think i should try being in charge of something that could get this big!
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Lotus Flower Shirt on: June 17, 2005 07:30:05 PM
I was inspired by ragamufyn's embroidered tanktop, and so i went on a little bit of a lotus binge myself

I combined a picture of a lotus and a tattoo that someone had to get the design, the stitching is definately not my best work, but that's ok it looks decent and I'm impatient! Cheesy
4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / tatoo inspired embroidery, but what to do with it? on: June 13, 2005 11:45:15 AM
OK I just finished this little embroidery.  I like it a lot but It's just on a plain cream/white peice of cloth, so are there any suggestions on what i could do with it?

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / First Baby Blanket! on: May 05, 2005 06:11:54 PM
This is my first ever slightly larger scaled crochet project!  It is a (slightly larger than normal) baby blanket.  It is in a jagged edge type afghan pattern. It's nothing too special it's just my first!

here's my cat modeling it for you all

and draped on a chair...

oh and it's for a friend of mine who is due somewhere around july! they weren't sure of the sex so hopefully it's kind of androgenous  Tongue
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / knitted baby slippers on: April 23, 2005 10:18:52 AM

7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / I made these earrings, but now I need some advice on: March 19, 2005 08:35:50 AM
ok sorry for the quality, but I made these earrings

and they are pretty cut,e but I used fairly thin wire and whenever i wear them they just bend back and forth and every which a way.  Does anyone have any ideas about how to make them a little more stable?
8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Chicken Pin on: March 19, 2005 08:33:30 AM

9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / random earrings on: March 07, 2005 05:50:36 PM

sorry for the incredibly poor quality, my camera is, as always, completely lame.
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / t-shirt skirt and painted skirt on: February 28, 2005 06:47:31 AM
This is a skirt that I made from a HUGE tie-dyed shirt.  I just cut the sleeves off and hemmed up the top and put in a strip of elastic

Once upon a time I made a boring, plain, black skirt.  Then one day I decided that I needed to use some fabric paint and paint a tile-mosaic-inspired-sun on it.
