Hello again. My computer is STILL broken, but now I have a smartphone, so I'm semi-back online.

I'm mostly working on pies for Thanksgiving, but I took a little time out for a side-project. Is this readable? (don't think it will offend anyone, because he was a horrible person and it's from a cartoon.)

Thanks, maxxev, bubblegum_phoenix, and nougatgee.  Smiley  The funny thing is... they feel HUGE to me.  They're much bigger than a lot of what I make.  bubblegum_phoenix, I actually tested that!  lol  I never put them lit inside the clay, because I'm not sure what would happen, but I pre-burned a few to possibly put inside.

maxxev, that bracelet is really pretty!  Clay looks so different when sanded and polished like you do.  Really beautiful flower too!

I put the pumpkins aside for a while, because I FINALLY got around to buying tiny oval mirrors last week and I couldn't put this project off any longer.  I've wanted to make this for months!

Still needs a lot of smoothing and finishing up...

Started on my Halloween stuff later than I wanted, but it's coming along...

Not exactly "in-prog" but also not a complete project.  I was gonna make pasta for a swap, but it turned out to be the kind where you make the same thing for everyone, not random one-on-one... so this would take too long.

....now I have about three weeks to make 15 of.... something.  Eep!

Thanks.  Smiley

Here's some strawberry stuff I've been working on.  It's not baked yet, so the translucent parts aren't obvious... but...

It's not for anything specific, but more because I hated my last strawberry cane so much.

Ugly, no?

6  Tiny BBQ - Happy 4th of July! in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Blitherypoop on: July 04, 2010 03:28:50 PM
After a couple weeks of work.... it's finally done! Grin

Happy Independence Day!

Click here for a close-up.  I wish my camera did better macros... the pickle slices actually have little seeds.

7  Watermelon - Happy...um... Third of July! in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Blitherypoop on: July 03, 2010 03:57:44 PM
It's part of a larger project that *should* be finished tomorrow, but I liked how it looked with the water on it from quenching.... so here it is, early...

I feel like I'm the only one who posts in here lately... come on people!  lol   Tongue

Little ears of corn (the longest is about 3/4") and iceberg lettuce...

Potato chips, bbq chips, and pickle slices for burgers...

...I really wanna finish this project already!  Tongue

9  Berry Cheesecake Trio in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Blitherypoop on: June 24, 2010 03:14:53 PM
Raspberry, raspberry jam swirl, and strawberry...

Dollhouse scale.... dunno why I didn't take a photo with a dime or something for scale.  Oh well!   Tongue

Strawberry slice canes will make you crazy.  This one wasn't anywhere near good enough, so I'll be trying again... and probably again and again and again... and maybe again.

Thanks.  Smiley

Here's the watermelon cane I'm working on... well when I'm in the AC at work.  Too hot in my apartment.  The clay gets sticky and too soft.
