I bought my etching cream at Michaels in Glendale but it was really expensive and the last one.  I think you can get it at Pearl Arts & Crafts on Pico and La Cienega for less.  You could probably call them first and make sure they have it.

Welcome cherryredlipstick!  We usually try to meet on the second Saturday of the month but we always post everything here. We trade off on where we go so if you want to join in, just PM the person who's hosting for directions. No invitation needed, more the merrier.
3  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Sewing Classes - How Much? on: March 14, 2005 07:22:30 AM
I've been looking for a sewing class of some sort in Hollywood or Los Angeles.  Most classes I find focus on clothes and i'm more interested in bags/purses.  I've figured out the basics but I still don't know how to put on a zipper.  I really want to learn how to put extra pockets on the inside and well...just make a more detailed, cute, purse.  So if anyone still wants to teach classes, I would be interested.
4  California / California: South / Re: Attention my fellow Valley knitters and crocheters (particularly Burbank) on: March 09, 2005 01:01:56 PM
I've always wanted to learn how to knit.  I just started crocheting, which has only resulted in a half of a scarf.

I'm really going to try and make it tonight.  I work in Redondo Beach and usually don't get home to Hollywood until 7, but i'm going to hussle and drive like mad.

Recruitment props out to "She's Crafty"

Hope to see you all later tonight.

I was looking at the pottery website and it showed mosaics.  Can I put little mosaic tiles into the clay before it's fired?
7  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: how do you make it so that just one thing can be sold online? on: June 07, 2004 06:16:50 PM
I don't know about the form thing but I do know that paypal does have a button choice that only sells one item at a time.

I use GoLive and i'm having a major problem with putting my paypal carts onto my pages.  I can get them there no problem but it sends everything else out of wack.  Even when I fix it all and it looks right in my layout window, it looks bad when viewing it on explorer.  Not sure if this will fix itself when I upload it or if it will stay out of line.  Has anyone had this problem?  Any suggestions?
9  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re:Snaps. on: April 22, 2004 11:17:20 PM
There are special tools that you can buy to protect the cap.  It's just a small metal piece that the top of the snap sits in when you flip it over.  If you can't find it in stores, which a lot of times places will sell them with the heavy duty snaps, try these websites...
