1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Gift Bag Bows on: July 29, 2011 03:45:12 PM
Thought I'd share a tutorial I found online. These are gift bows made with strips of magazine pages. They are very easy to make and are really cute - easy way to add an adorable flair to a gift. (Also a great solution to all the old magazines laying around the house  Wink )

Here's the link to the tutorial as well: http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf67285000.tip.html

Hope you enjoy!
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Healing Doll - First Posted Project :) on: February 07, 2010 05:42:26 PM

This is my lovely Lola!
It was a project my aunt asked me to do - these are called "Healing Dolls" or "Medicine Dolls"
The idea is to create a doll purely from the creative soul of yourself and through the doll reflect the things you most need from yourself or the things you most value.
Lola is a two sided doll with colors inspired by the colors portrayed during a dawn and a dusk on a lake in the summer.
Anymore questions just let me know!
