12  Cloth Toilet Paper in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by rantyhippie on: February 26, 2014 01:28:36 PM
A.K.A.: Family cloth, toilet cloth, etc.

I have recently started using cloth toilet paper (for #1 for now) because it is cheaper and more environmentally friendly. I had some cut up tshirts but I decided to upgrade to flannel. The tshirts survive as cloth kleenex. I made a bunch of these today (I didn't count how many). The ones on top are single sheets, and the ones on the bottom are stacks of the same color fabric. They are super soft and work really great!

14  Patchwork Bag for summer in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by rantyhippie on: February 21, 2014 02:26:11 PM
I wanted something that will carry the necessities. I had this patchwork panel that wanted to be a bag, so I whipped up this bag real quick today. It has two pockets on the inside and a drawstring closure.

15  Modesty Panels! in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by rantyhippie on: February 18, 2014 12:23:56 PM
I have a lot of denim skirts I wear during the winter (and to various church functions that require me to wear skirts. Which is all of them.) I can't stand them. They all had splits in the back that were waay too high for my taste, and I felt exposed. Since I couldn't say "The heck with it" and put on a nice pair of pants, I made some modesty panels (also called kick pleats) and "fixed" them.

I fixed five skirts in all, the one on the top is my favorite.

I used a tutorial that was originally on Pintrest. It led to This blog:

I have been a busy bee! I love having my crafting space back! I made some cushions for a white rocker my grandmother bought me. It was originally in my son's nursery but now it is in the living area. I also fixed some denim skirts that I have by adding kick pleats (also called modesty panels).

I recently got my sewing area set back up after a LOOONG hiatus. I got tired of using my kitchen table as a desk, so I got my old desk from my dad's house and set up my crafting space again. I made this skirt for Valentine's Day. DH won't be here because he is working, but that doesn't mean I can't make myself feel special. Me and my son are going to spend the day together.

I made a pattern from Ravelry called Wind Rows Shawlette. This is my first knit shawl. I love the way it turned out. Ay first I did not think I would like the yarn but it turned out very lovely and looks like a sunset in the desert to me.

19  Spooky Needlework in Needlework: Completed Projects by rantyhippie on: August 30, 2013 07:14:48 PM
I am getting the jump on my Halloween projects. I made these 4 cross stitch panels and these two hoops, the spider was inspired by someone else's post on here (cant find it right now), and I thought of the ghost one on my own. I burnt myself out on needlework for now so I am moving on to other projects for now.

Sampler 1

Sampler 2. I used the creepy hollow pattern by Sitcheree. I didn't use the whole thing, though. The phrase on top I found on google from an old 1800's sampler and I thought is was really neat.

20  Gypsy/Fortuneteller Quilt of Awesome in Quilting: Completed Projects by rantyhippie on: May 17, 2013 09:34:24 PM
I have worked on this project on and off for almost 2 years now. I started with an embroidery pack. The theme was "Gypsy". Then I got this quilt kit At Walmart. I loved them both and tonight I finally put them together. I love this quilt. It is truly my masterpiece.
