I've kept a sticky next to my desk, so when I think of a good idea, I'll jot it down. Hubby was trying to understand the whole 'swap' thing, looked at my list, and said "you're gonna make all of that?!", lol.
My daughter opened up the tube I was working on and said "ahh, it still smells like chocolate". Then, she said "if you mess this one up too, we will have to go buy some more?!" -hiding it now in case of sabotage.
Ack! Everyone's making so much progress. I had to completely scrap my first tube, the idea was good, but I didn't think my cunning plan all the way through. To quote hubby "just because you CAN use powertools doesn't mean you SHOULD". *sigh*
I used a heavy grit sandpaper on mine before painting. Gave it an interesting texture, but not sure if I like it. I also took a drill and made two holes in the little part that flaps the lid open, mine was already looking thin at the crease from opening and closing it so much, so I plan to either wire them together or ribbon or something.
