12  If you can't find shoes to match a dress in Shoes: Completed Projects by Hebe73 on: May 14, 2010 05:11:34 AM
Match the shoes to the dress!!

I had an upcoming wedding of a friend and had a brilliant find of a awesome deep teal dress in a charity shop. Since I am skint (no money whatsoever) I had to find some shoes to match.. No luck..

Inspired by some great posts on here, I decided to match shoes to the dress. I had these plain white shoes that were a bit meh..

and with some acrylic paint (no fabric medium anywhere) and a make up sponge i had... some lace from my stash and viola:

I used some black Games Workshop acrylic to paint the bottom bit of the sole as the beige didnt fit. A few layers of matt acrylic finishe (also Games Workshop) and I was ready (the night before the wedding)

17  Knitting Needle Roll.. finished! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Hebe73 on: February 11, 2010 02:53:25 PM
Just finished making my own knitting needle roll in an attempt to get my crafting bits organised. Its fully my own design but with loads of inspiration from etsy shops and this forum.

A few weeks ago I found this fabric on ebay and just had to have it as it has some of my fav bands on it..

So bought some black cotton fabric, already had the white satin ribbon, used my knitting needles as measures as i have some BIG ones and made the pockets. I added a flap to hold them all in place

Action shot, check out the little pocket for my finishing needles.. Some of my needles are with WIPs and i wanted enough space for any additions..

Rolled up..

Hope you like it  Grin

19  First post! pjama/pajama top to bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Hebe73 on: February 03, 2010 07:32:12 AM
Hi all,

First post so apologies for any mistakes i make.. I work for a lingerie companie and when ordering some specials (lucky dip in a way, no idea what you get) I got these navy blue and cream tops. Incredibly soft but so not sexy. I have had them for awhile when i saw the shirt to bag ideas on here so with a little imagination I finished one of them, but so chuffed i had to show..

I will do the white bag the same but i think i'll add a bow instead of a flower. And i still got the sleeves left over to make something off..

x
P.S. sorry about the crappy quality of the photos.. My camera, not my skills..

edited to show pics Cheesy
