11  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Challenge 1: Sea, sand, surf and waves on: February 09, 2010 04:07:17 PM
Diving right on in with an entry, apologies if I muck any of this up and it ends up in the wrong place - very much a newbie - and very inspired by all the cool ideas.
My concept of the surf and waves are the beaten and curled wire to show the movement of the water - the beaten wire reminds me of the length of breakers as they roll in, the curled wire is the waves curling over. I have also balanced the sea blues and greens with the sand colors of the wire and some of the beads.
