1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Crochet Charizard, Noctowl, and Toad on: May 25, 2012 09:21:44 AM
Hey everyone!

I haven't posted in a while, and I decided to put up some pictures of some recent projects I've been working on.

I'm sorry for the terrible pictures, I really need to carry around a camera everywhere with me or something. Or at least get a phone with better quality camera.   Grin

And he's technically not a Pokemon, but Toad needs some love too!

Thanks for looking!
2  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Cardcaptor Sakura on: May 25, 2012 08:56:34 AM

So last year I took my younger cousin to an anime convention for the first time. Because it was her first time, I decided to let her cosplay just for the fun of it. I decided Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura was a good choice and I made the costume while she watched the series. It was a lot of work but she had a blast so it was totally worth it!

Posing with the wand that we made her.

Eating in the food court after a few hours of con-ing.

Everything was made from scratch except for the shoes, haha.

She's normally incredibly shy and quiet, so she gets overlooked a lot. But at the con people kept asking to take pictures with her and she loved the attention!  Cheesy

Thanks for looking!

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: T-shirts for my brother on: January 13, 2011 08:09:20 AM
I just used iron on transfer haha. For the deadmau5 head I printed out the picture and individually cut out each and every dot and painted the stencil on. Of course this wasn't as clean as I wanted so some of the dots are smeared haha. I do wish I found out about the freezer paper method before I started it though  Roll Eyes

Uh, I never actually measured haha. I just keep referring to them as "baby" sized cause I hugged them a lot when i was making them. Teddiursa I would say was a little less than 12 inches probably. Charmander and sandshrew were also about Teddiursa's size. Vulpix was shorter but with its tails it was the longest one I think.
