1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Are they going to fall apart? on: February 15, 2006 05:28:47 AM
I just made some stud earrings out of clay (the kind you cook in the oven) and I am deathly scared that they are going to fall apart after I ship them out. I used Aleens tacky glue...the kind in the gold bottle.  Undecided Is this going to work? Ahhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Huh Huh Huh

What do you think? I have about 3 weeks to make it, it's for winter ball. I am going to try and make my own pattern too. I don't really kno where to start tho so if anybody that is experienced would like to take a whack at making a sketch of the pieces of fabric I should cut out I'd love to see your take on it.  Wink

Wish me luck! I am going to try and find some good fabric for it today at wally world. I might need to buy the entire bolt in case I make like 50 thousand faux pas. lol

7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Where can I alter pictures online? on: December 21, 2005 06:48:50 AM
I want to create a great banner for my etsy shop by altering a picture I took online. Is there a website that will let me do this for free? I tried googling it but I don't really know what I'm looking for. I don't just want to crop the photo, I want to change the way it looks and stuff, like the amount of lighting...the colors or whatever. I hope somebody knows what I'm talking about!
8  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / The Thanksgiving Turkey (and other goodies!) Thread on: December 20, 2005 09:46:18 AM
 Shocked Shocked Shocked

My mom just called me and asked me to put the turkey in the oven for her...I don't know what I'm doing!! It's a whole turkey!

I took it out of the plastic and I took the giblets..(I think that's what they're called?) ...out of the front...(at least I think that was the front!)  Now I'm trying to take the plastic tie thing off of where the drums sticks are but it won't come off! Is there a special way to get it out?

I'd call my mom back but she's at work...

Yup I'm definately not going to get much school work done today! I'm also supposed to take in my sister's basketball shorts because they're like 80 million sizes to big for her and bah! Christmas is only in 5 days! Soooo behind in everything!  Undecided

Ok, I'm done rambling now. Please help me with this turkey battle! I don't even like turkey! I want to be a vegetarian!
9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Can I refer you to this bead site? on: November 07, 2005 10:31:01 AM
I found a site that gives free vouchers to people for refering friends for their products. The vouchers are worth $6.28 in U.S. dollars. I have this new obsession for beads now so could I pretty please refer you?! You get $ for beads, and I get $ for beads too! Just PM me your email address and I'll be the happiest person ever!  Smiley
10  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 7 ENTRIES / Boxy Blanket on: November 07, 2005 08:12:16 AM
I think I must have used 15 pairs of jeans for mine! All I used was jeans and thread! Grin I love my new blanket and I can use it for so many different things! It's great for a picnic too! And I'm thinking about making curtains to match cause I love it so much!

My project is pretty self explanatory - I just cut a ton of squares and then sewed them together and ironed in between so the seams in the back would be neat and flat because there is no backing or anything.. just bare edges so the ends fray! I love it!!

I hope you like!! I took the one with my hand in the picture so you could get an idea of how big the squares are. And I wanted to show off my wicked cool admission bracelet for the Dance Olympus convention yesterday in Boston!  Cool I am such a nerd. I was just looking at all the projects everyone has entered so far and there isnt a single one I don't like! We are all so very talented! It's extreme!

Peace  Kiss
