I recived a wonderful package from SevsOnlyGirl.

Group shot. An awesome travel embroidery bag (that my bf wants to steal), a red shirt pin cushion (my bf also wants to steal this), a fabulous vintage pattern shadow box to go with my collection, and a jar of glittered christmas lightbulbs.

The inside of the fabulous travel bag. Ive wanted one for ages and how can you go wrong with muppet fabric. And she sent me all the extra muppet fabric  Grin

The amazing vintage pattern shadow box. Ive recived 3 of these based on this pin http://m.pinterest.com/pin/102456960242255358/, they are all different and I love them all.

And just for fun my shadowbox collection(because I want people to be jealous Cheesy

23  Re: The Great Chainmaille Swap: Round 2 GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by scarlet_nights on: September 17, 2012 05:39:08 PM
I recived ages ago. I know shame on me for taking so long to post pictures.
The whole lots. 2 pretty necklaces and earrigns!! I love earrings.

The earrrings. I think the shaggy loops one is my favorite, they are small enough for me to wear to work but still fun.

And the necklaces. I love the red one.

She has also recived from me but is having trouble finding a camera so I'll post some pics for her.
The whole lot. 2 necklaces, 4 pendants, a pair of earrings, and a pair of fingerless lace gloves.

Close up of the pendants I sent her.

25  I couldnt sleep last night or I have an addiction to shiny things in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by scarlet_nights on: August 23, 2012 09:17:59 PM
I cant sleep at night anymore. I lay down and toss and turn till around 5 or 6 in the morning. Last night during my "damn it I cant sleep" phase I noticed the sad way i keep my jewelry. Desperately needs help dosnt it? So I decided, since I was up anyway, to do something about it.

One part antique frame that has been hanging in the garage for years, and one part funky lace. You can see how huge the frame is here. Add a ton of staples and some duct tape, mix and voila jewelry holder.

I still need to figure out what to do with my post earrings and I cant decided if I like the necklaces hanging on the side or not but it at least keeps them untangled.

Thanks for looking.

26  My first attempt at needle felting in Felting: Completed Projects by scarlet_nights on: August 09, 2012 10:32:11 PM
so I know this is just kind of a blob and nothing real fancy but it was my first time trying needlefelting. I thought he turned out cute but my bf said he needed a g/f. I had already done a "shocked look" on his face that I had to incorporate it somehow. So when I made his "g/f" I needle felted her hand to his butt.
I call it unrequited love. He dosnt seem to excited about her advances dose he?

27  Autumn leaf hair pretty in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by scarlet_nights on: August 09, 2012 09:06:52 PM
I was going though some old pictures in my computer and found some projects I havent posted. I made this for a swap partner some time ago. She had one similar on her pinterest so I thought it would be fun to recreate it.
Basically just leaves, chain, and a sparkley. I was quite pleased with how it turned out.
Almost makes a sloppy "who cares" bun look nice.

You gals are always welcome at my house if you want to come visit the Garfields! I'll trade lodging for hooplas!  I can't promise I will help you take one home though Wink

[img width=375 height=500]http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/medium/295224_24Jul12_garfield.jpg[

That one is at our Children's Museum. (It's one of my favorites.)

Okay, now I want a Garfield hoop.

ahhh its great I want! Would look great in my yard dont ya think lol. As for a garfield hoop you can put some of his quotes on your list and your partner can put it in a thought bubble with garfield under it. One of my favorites is "Pooky you give the best hugs" since I love that Garfield loved his teddy. I had a very beloved teddy bear that I slept with till i was 16 (yes 16 and Im not ashamed of it) that I lost when my house burned down a few years ago. I still miss my teddy.
