Phew, done with all pics! As usual, comments & criticism most welcome

Symptom: when I think of presents I make earrings, when I join a charity sale I make earrings, when I make stuff for myself it's still earrings 

Presents:

#1 Pendent

Just randomly twisted a frame, put on a bead and then wrapped thinner wire over the frame, threw in some tiny beads here & there... This is much like an experiment to me.  I couldn't decide whether I like the end product or not though.  Maybe it's that random-ness in shape?

#2 Two pieces made with quartz beads from a stretchy bracelet

I really like how the earrings turn out.  The ring is my 2nd attempt to make a ring with wire.  As you can see the cluster is on the floppy side.

#3 Obviously I was crazy with purple because a third piece came in a row.  All acryllic beads so it is still fairly light in weight.

After using it a few times, I figured that I shoudl have made the tail shorter because sometimes it'll get tangled with the elastic

It's getting hot & humid here, and I really hate the summer weather.  One of the reasons is that all my favorite colors seem so out of place (I like dark jewel-toned colors most).  Since spring and summer belong to white and pastels, I made this necklace and a ponytail holder:

The one on the right is the first attempt which I abandoned half way through (looks too bulky).  May finish it someday

and I've vastly underestimated the work! *rub sore fingers* I was so afraid that pliers would mar the wire because I knew I would have use a death grip  , so I did most of the thing with my fingers.  And that long piece of thin wire kept trying to poke my face (don't worry, I wear my glasses when I craft  )

Finally I'm getting glass beads  Each of the colored beads in the bracelet is itself a gradient of two or more colors, and together they form a rainbow. Simply couldn't resist when I saw them in the bead store!

The Lunar New Year is coming so I made this to hang on my door.  The character "fu" at the center means good fortune, and we have printed versions on the door (and on the calender) every year.



The red motifs at the corners are bats(!). In Chinese bat is also pronounced as "fu", so bat motifs are considered to bring good fortune as well. I copied the bat motif painted on some bowls, and tried to make the outline with wire (which is not successful because there are too many sharp angles in the motif).  Anyway, thought I'd show this funny draft I drew (top: copied from a rice bowl; bottom: cartoon bat)
