Hi!  My names Anne and Ill be turning 27 on September 21.
I live in Oberlin, Ohio.
Thank you in advance to anyone who picks me, birthday presents are THE BEST!

My wishes
-A scarf.  I love the clapotis, but any knit scarf would be super cool!

-A necklace or earrings.

-Decorations of any kind; I just moved into a new apartment and I have my VERY own crafting room now!  It would be cool to decorate it with stuff from other craftsters.

-A new bag.  Ive been carrying around a tote I made for ages.  I need something new! Woohooo!!  Thank you Alwaysinmyroom!!!

-A t-shirt that says Im not Emily.  My twin works at the local high school and everytime I go downtown all these kids run up to me asking me things, thinking Im her.  (It gets old. Wink)  Im a size Small.

-A homemade sketchbook.

-Fabric scraps you dont want anymore.

-A Learn How to Knit Kit.  I live above a yarn store now.  I should learn!

-Or a surprise, I love surprises!!

About me:
I have an eclectic sense of style.  I love funky stuff but I love natural things too.  My favorite colors at the moment are red, black, grey, and green, although I love all  earth-tones also.  I love tattoo fabric a craftster made me a wallet out of the stuff (thanks again alwaysinmyroom!) and its my most valued possession!!  Laughing, being outside and singing along to music (perhaps too loudly) are some of my favorite things to do.

I LOVE what you did with the living room - putting christmas lights behind bedsheet curtains.  It's such a simple project but it looks AWESOME.  Makes the whole room look warm and cozy.  Boo to landlords who don't let you paint, but your creativity has definitely trumped your uninspired landlord!
14  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Hanging Pot Rack--Homage to Julia Child on: August 30, 2006 07:17:23 AM
Awesome idea!  I am about to move into a "smallish" kitchen where if I used my pot-hanging rack I'd probably end up killing myself.  (Cast iron pot to the forehead!)  I think I may try stealing your idea...  Did you use s-hooks to secure the pots to the wire shelving?

Wow, CraftyZary, you got some amazing stuff!  I would give my first born for that picture frame.   Wink  Sinkitty, did you make those flowers?

Okay guys, here is the collected awesomeness that inkkitten sent me!!

First, she sent me a boatload of Mexican candy, including candy made out of cactus, and candy with chile!  (Inkkitten, I haven't tried the candy yet, but I'll let you know whether your husband is right about the Gusano Lucas or not!   Wink )

Next, we have the Mexican flag purse!  I love it so much, I had to take all of my crap out of it to get the pictures, because I've already been using it:

And the inside of the bag, check out the fabric, it's so cool:

And she also made a Mexican flag coin purse and a Day of the Dead compact mirror for me to carry around (which she hand painted!!!):

Inkkitten, I love everything, thank you for being such an awesome swap partner!   Cheesy

And I think that if CraftyZary ends up not getting anything from her partner, we should all make and send her one Mexi craft!   Grin

Yay!!!!!  I'm so glad that you liked everything, alwaysinmyroom, especially the skeleton!  He was definitely my favorite thing to make.  I made him out of lots of paper mache and paint.  I think I'll make another one to keep for myself!  I didn't paint all those dots on the box... I have a silver metallic sharpie so I used that -- WAY easier than paint!  And the fumes are fun too (just kidding  Wink ).

By the way, Honey's little outfit might be the coolest swap item that I've ever seen!  How did you know what size she was?!?!
