CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Pattern/advice for making a g-string?
|

Hi everyone, I've been looking online for a pattern for a g-string and am not having much luck...I wondered if anyone here could help me? I was going to put up a picture, but then I thought that maybe it wouldn't be suitable for Craftster, so here is a link to the kind of underwear that I want to try and make http://www.lolaluna-uk.com/type/24/closed-mini-g-string/page-1.htmI think its so pretty, but its quite expensive and I figured that I could try and make something similar myself (maybe!) Has anyone ever made something similar, or have any advice on what kind of elastic would be the most comfortable to wear? If anyone knew of a pattern too then that would be great! Thank you ladies xx

TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Hippy Dolls
|

Hi everyone, I recently made two hippies as I found a couple of psychedelic-looking fat-quarters that I thought would make groovy outfits (I am soooo addicted to fat quarters that its not even funny!!) I'm not so used to using bright and bold colours, but I really like the way that they turned out, so I thought I would share them with you. The blonde one is called Willow Warmtears and the brunette is Astrid Fields!

TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Creepy Dolls

Hi everyone, I was recently given an order for 3 spooky looking dolls. I finished them up today and I thought that some Craftsters might be interested in having a look ) I found these quite a challenge to make as they're not as 'girly' and 'pretty' as I normally prefer, but I'm hoping that my recipient is going to like them. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Lxx

TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Einstein Feltie!

Hi everyone, I have a friend who is a physics teacher and I wanted to make him a little present and came up with this - its Albert Einstein made out of felt! I didn't really know any other famous physicists, so I hope that he likes him. Little Albert is very tiny..I haven't measured him, but he must be around 2-3" tall and is based on a pattern from a japanese craft book. I put a little sign on him, just so that everyone can be sure who he is!

TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Dolls with lacey tights & curvy figures!

Hi everyone, I thought I would put up a few pictures of my latest batch of dolls. The first three came about after I discovered some coloured lace and I thought they would make nice tights! And my most recent four were an experiment into making my dolls a bit more...well, curvy! They look a bit like they are silicone-enhanced, but I like them! The last one, with the blue dress is my favourite - I can't decide whether to keep her or sell her...I'd be sad to part with her, even though I haven't known her long Thank you for taking a look Craftsters!! xx
