2  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Discussion and Questions / Re: tension issues - new brother PE 770 on: November 15, 2013 07:46:08 AM
I have a Brother 1250D and it also does that,  It works fine for a few projects then it eats my fabric when it sucks my top thread in to the bobbin case and gets all messed up.   My closest brother dealer is over and hour away too.  Sad  getting so mad then sad at my machine which I truly love to play with
3  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Discussion and Questions / New with a brother 1250d on: April 10, 2013 11:24:52 AM
Hi I was wondering if there is a thread or link any one can recommend to help me get started with machine embroidery.   I am so intimidated by it.  I been using my machine for sewing for almost a year .   Thanks
4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / Princess Corset on: February 08, 2013 03:52:04 PM
I been trying to find a free corset top pattern to pair with a tutu for my daughters.   Or a tutorial on how to make a faux corset look.  I found a few to purchase, but I was looking for more of a general description to try out before I buy one.
Thanks

I am having a themed bridal shower for my Cousion I want to take beach balls and make bowls out of them somehow.

Can't think of what I cause to harden the inflated beach ball ?   I need it to beard snuff to cut in half , I can then coat it to be smooth np. Just not sure what to use to make it as hard as glass.....

Any ideas would be soo. Cool thank you
7  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Initials on pre shirred fabric on: March 09, 2012 06:44:07 PM
Hi, I've shirred fabric before, but for quick quits for kids I picked up some ore shirred fabric to embellish.

I was wondering if you can sew a name or large initial on the shirred part and how to do it?

I just got a embroidery / sewing machine but I've not even attempted to learn the embroidery yet....

Thank you

Maryann
