1  I'm in the paper! (article attached) in Crafty Business Discussion by dippychick on: April 05, 2005 02:27:16 PM
Okay, so it's a dinky little local paper and I'm on page 23 right near the classifieds... but it's better than nothing, right?   Grin
Actually, a much larger paper interviewed me for an article on small gourmet food businesses and it should be coming out this weekend or next. That should be pretty cool. Gotta love free publicity!
Anyway, here's the article. Thanks for checking it out! If the image is too small to read, the actualy link is http://www.dippychick.com/personal/ctn_article.gif

2  Re: Covering booth tables in Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs by dippychick on: March 31, 2005 03:35:30 AM
Thanks Beth! The only thing is, my dip mix packages wouldn't go very well with the red I don't think. They are all kind of muted natural colors. That's why I'm thinking of a sage green topper, or maybe just a natural beige-colored one. Here's a photo:

3  I made covers! in Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs by dippychick on: March 29, 2005 03:40:18 PM
I made covers for my tables finally.  Grin  got some $1/yard fabric at Wal-Mart. It's heavy and stretchy and drapes really nice. I cut out an old sheet to just beyond the top of each table and sewed the skirt to it. I "faked" this photo a bit - I made the topper (green fabric) in Photoshop. It's not real. I haven't decided on a fabric for that yet. At least you can get an idea. Here's the pic. Thanks again everyone!
