Instead of separating every picture I just decided to bunch them all together. Once I started sewing all of my fabric scraps together to make ( quilting blocks? ) --still not sure what it will end up being-- they looked a little plain and I love to embroider at night while watching TV , so I started adding stitching and beads to each one. I was also working on embroidery patches during the day. Now I have a HUGE pile of awesomeness to work with. If I could only figure out what to make with them............

~ Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine is made up of rolled up scrapbook papers. I rolled the paper around a pencil and glued with Elmer's Glue.

~ Forever Queen is a hodge podge of cut up papers-glitter-bits and bobs glued onto a painted wooden shrine

~ Dia De Los Muertos is a wooden shrine box decked out with Day of the Dead tchotchkes

I've been working on this art journal cover for around six months. I think it's finished now. I hope you enjoy looking!

This is project #2 from my quilting retreat this past weekend. Finished size 55x65 Connecting Threads Fabric

 Saturday was National Quilters Day. Our guild has a quilters retreat every year to celebrate. This is one of two quilts that I made. Finished size is 65x75. The fabrics are from Connecting Threads. ( it was actually a kit )

After lasts night finale I think a Walking Dead swap is called for. Who's your favorite survivor? If the group split - Who would you follow? Who do you wish would get bit and die already? I don't want to host since I've never done it before and have no clue as to how hosting is done. Do I have any takers?
