21  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: A Very Merry Supernatural Christmas (SU October 3-14 SO November 30) on: October 12, 2011 03:44:32 AM
I hope you're right. And I completely agree it's great news they're both such sweet people they'll make great parents. Smiley My concern is that at cons he's stated that he didn't want to have a child while working on Supernatural because they wouldn't know their daddy. At least recently Geneveive was living in L.A., even if she stays in Vancouver with his hours it would be tough to spend time with them. I certainly wouldn't blame him if he chooses the much more important baby over the show. As obsessed as I am with Supernatural even I agreed the Mini-Moose is way way more important!

I can't help but worry about something that as silly as it sounds helped me get thru the dark times of my husbands cancer. And consequently became an important part of my life. Smiley

And on the subject of season 7 so far I'm thrilled I think it's going to be a great season.

Jared's latest announcement makes me worry about getting another season.

Thanks. Smiley

I'm going to keep it to one or two items. My husband loves empty horizontal surfaces.

That sounds like a great idea for a new craft project. Maybe something to tie the chrome and copper in together more.

We just redid the bathroom and added space for a 12"x30" countertop. It added more space but the problem is don't want to put anything on it to cover it up. Smiley It's  1"x1" glass tiles with this beautiful copper threaded thru it. We added a little yellow to the resin to warm it up and hard wired it into the same circuit as the overhead light.

The overall effect. Smiley

It's taped together with clear packing tape. The bubbles are on the inside and covered with packing tape, then the tape forms the sides. The body and flap are one long piece of bubble wrap.

As for keeping it away from bubble poppers that's the hard part. I used the big bubble wrap because it takes more effort to pop and people start to pop and the nice ones catch themselves. If I'd have used the small they would have popped it before their brains Came on line. Lol

I'm a sucker for a  tassel. Wink

I love to make theme purses. This is my packing supply purse. The body is large bubble wrap, the sides packing tape and the handle large rubber bands. The decorative catch is a binding clip. Just don't take it to the library it's kind of loud.

Thanks! I spent a silly amount of time varnishing it and picking out the wood doodad on top. Smiley
