I just received from Capnstubtooth today. I'm so excited I couldn't wait to share with y'all! She did a great job and really listened to what I like. Smiley

First is an adorable ornament of Dean's amulet since she knows the brotherly bond is what I like best and its a perfect symbol of that bond.

Next is a great set of etched tumblers with the protection symbol tattoo because I love the symbols on the show.

And just to spoil me is a set of etched glasses with the angel banishing sigil.

Last but not least is a great shirt also with the angel banishing sigil since I like the symbols that are specific to Supernatural best!

I'm very happy and really spoiled. Smiley Thanks for a great first swap!

5  Lighted glass countertop in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by jimscupcake on: September 03, 2011 03:37:41 PM
We just redid the bathroom and added space for a 12"x30" countertop. It added more space but the problem is don't want to put anything on it to cover it up. Smiley It's  1"x1" glass tiles with this beautiful copper threaded thru it. We added a little yellow to the resin to warm it up and hard wired it into the same circuit as the overhead light.

The overall effect. Smiley

6  Re: Bubble wrap purse with rubber band handle and paper clip tassel in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by jimscupcake on: September 03, 2011 06:33:51 AM
It's taped together with clear packing tape. The bubbles are on the inside and covered with packing tape, then the tape forms the sides. The body and flap are one long piece of bubble wrap.

As for keeping it away from bubble poppers that's the hard part. I used the big bubble wrap because it takes more effort to pop and people start to pop and the nice ones catch themselves. If I'd have used the small they would have popped it before their brains Came on line. Lol

7  Bubble wrap purse with rubber band handle and paper clip tassel in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by jimscupcake on: September 02, 2011 03:18:55 PM
I love to make theme purses. This is my packing supply purse. The body is large bubble wrap, the sides packing tape and the handle large rubber bands. The decorative catch is a binding clip. Just don't take it to the library it's kind of loud.

My first hard purse. Simple wooden box stained, varnished, felt lined with a brocade pocket. And of course a tassel because I love tassels.  Grin
