I got this awesome ATC from My_RubySlippers. I can't help but ooh and ahh over all of her stippled artwork! This is Smaug from The Hobbit!  Grin

I have a box that is about the same size as a medium flat rate. Once I get to the post office (next week!), I'll have to see if it'll be cheaper to use the flat rate box or my box.

That's what I was going to do, too. Though I'm pretty sure flat rate boxes are only cheaper if it's super heavy, or if it's going past the Mississippi. Have fun on your snow day! I'm excited about crafting tomorrow too!

I love the coin purse, and the quilled fruit magnets! Everything in here is sooo tiny, I'm wondering if my thing is too big at 4" cubed. Hmm.

At any rate, it should be at its destination, according to the USPS tracking number! I hope it gets posted soon so I know who received it!

Since a visitor is going to be staying in my "crafting room" tomorrow night, I've been getting a lot done on my mediumish crafting tonight!

That's awesome. I hate styrofoam containers too, and that's a really creative way to use one instead of sending it to the landfill.

I stared at some pictures of a nautilus for a while, but that's it. Smiley

Daaaayum. I saw the thumbnail, and it looked like a big fancy painting, not a wee little portrait!
260  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Picture Frame turned Earring Holder on: January 27, 2014 07:00:12 PM
Hi there!

Inspired by posts on here and on Pinterest, I decided to make an earring holder for my sister-in-law.

I used a picture frame I found at the thrift store, and lace that I bought at JoAnn's. I first cut the lace to size and put fabric stiffener on it. I then hot-glued and folded the lace into place, and then bent a wire coat hanger into a good shape to support it.

Ta Da!
