I tend to use leftover paper from cards and nice envelopes because they tend to be a nice white stationery. I would recommend card-stock though, or even a heavier-weight printer paper (like 32 or 34 lb). I also utilize books to dry stuff in a nice way, and I tend to glue the front down, press, then fold the backs and cut, glue, press.

If you already have some printed out on your thin paper, you might consider gluing an extra layer of paper on the back before mounting on a card, or even pre-treating with a layer of glue on the back - like mod podge. Smiley

Last night she stole and ate an entire bag of grapes off the counter... Nothing is safe from that hound!  I am hoping to find time this week to get to the store to buy some more hoops.  I thought I had a a whole bunch but I guess I was wrong Sad

Oooh, just be aware that grapes and raisins can be very poisonous to dogs.

My apologies, Mods, for making this a pet thread, but I think this merits a post.

GRRR got my design all transferred and hooped up and the dang dog ate it.

Sorry but you have to be school aged to use that excuse  Wink

Ha! I was thinking the same thing.

But seriously, I am  sorry that happened. Not cool at all.

At least your dog has good taste. Wink

I'm a bit slow on the response but for rockmygypsysoul, I found that painting the silhouette of the animal in black or a dark tone, and then painting over that with white helps give some depth. This is especially true for long-haired animals (I did a big fluffy arctic fox once, though that was with prismacolor pencils not paint). Anyway, you might like the way it comes out!

That Dorothy and the dandelion card are brilliant! And the personal planetarium reminds me of Monty Python's The Meaning of Life, where Eric Idle comes out of the fridge and sings the Universe song. Smiley

Karl's fix-it shop is AMAZING. Blupaisan, you should be a book illustrator. I would love reading a book and looking at all of the pictures, finding cool little details every time!

Oooh, I love the style of that red and white lighthouse, and the cat card is great!

I'm considering signing up for this for the first time. I do have a question though... Do we have to list supply items on our wishlists? I'm going to be moving soon, and am trying to do some hardcore de-stashing.
