231  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Mini 13 Days of Halloween Rnd 6 CLOSED on: July 10, 2014 09:09:51 PM
I have my list made out and I am quite excited about my last day item. If I can pull it off I will have a very hard time putting that in the mail Smiley

Ooo! Grin

I'm waiting for a particular halloween item to come out in stores for one of my projects. Haven't seen any halloween displays yet, what's taking so long!? Wink
I did smell an autumn chill in the air today. I got kinda excited.

I can't wait for partners, but I'm going to be camping on the 11th, 12th and 13th without access to any internet!  I guess I'll have to wait to see who I get on Sunday after we get home!

Oh, yeah. I just remembered I am going camping August 9-12. Shouldn't be hard to send early for this swap though. I'll just be quiet for a few days at the end of the swap.

Yeah, me too. I'm not sure how long I'll be gone music festing, but it will be at least the first weekend in August. But I'll be sure to send early, and I'll be back probably before sendouts end anyway. Smiley

I got a couple of supplies I needed yesterday. And to answer the check-in question, I LOVE carving pumpkins. We try to grow them ourselves, though naturally the best growing year was the one I was too far away to carve any home-grown ones (we had 77 pumpkins from "volunteer" plants in the compost - didn't plant a single one!).
My first year at college, I worked at the natural history museum on campus and we had a halloween event that featured a jack-o-lantern walk. I carved 12 pumpkins that year, almost all natural history themed. I'm such a geek.

Mmmm that jam looks really yummy. I never thought of cream cheese.

ShannonMB, I just learned that I'm partnered with your DH in the 13 days of halloween swap; it would be hilarious if I sent a shrine to the same house. Smiley

lol  That would be funny...though it would save you on shipping.  How did you know that was my DH?  I'm gonna guess his has my name somewhere on his profile?  lol

I actually found your name in one of his posts from previous years' Halloween swap. I'm sneaky like that. Grin

I can't wait for partners in this swap so I can do some more stalking! And crafting!

That is surely the cutest boobie I have ever seen. Smiley
238  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Space Fox Pyrography/Watercolor on: July 04, 2014 07:19:03 AM
I LOVE this. The pattern is fantastic in the fox, the colors are superb, very nicely done.

That's lovely! I like the nest a whole lot. Smiley

If you want to paint AND hide the glue, you could paint up to the glue spots and then creatively decorate that area (like cottonball clouds or little flowers or something). Just a thought.

Can't wait for more shrines!

Glad you're feeling better Onyxnox. Dogs are my favorite form of therapy, followed by chocolate and gardening.
