If you think that tiny crocheted robin is cute, check out this owl! Another amazing spikefan creation. Smiley

I love him! Thank you!

Okay, my sincerest apologies Blu, for being so slow in posting the awesomeness you made me. Everyone, I wish you could see this in person - it's a flipbook that Blupaisan made!

If I was fancy enough to understand how to make a little GIF I would. It's fantastic! The hawk picks up the snake, who looks around and says "Look Ma, I'm flying!", and then looks back at who's carrying him and says "Oh..."
I'm in awe at the detail in each and every hawk drawing! Blupaisan says this is her first flip book, and color me impressed!
Thank you!

Oh, and yes the kestrel was done in watercolor with ink details. Loving the rest of this gallery!

Sorry to hear about all of the scary emergencies. Here are some birds to make everyone feel better. A Gyrfalcon and a Barred Owl from the place I volunteer:

In other news, I'm still crafting!

I got my last prayer flag too! And I've been a total bum and should have posted it days ago, but I've been knocked flat by a gross cold. Anyway, here it is!

Also made by Holistic Knitter. Fantastic chain stitch! And sparkles!

And the lot of them together. Great swap!

I love that Be Calm flag! It's a lot like the one I got from rscowtown!

I love that it reminds me of the ocean - I have a lot of laughter-filled memories there! The beads are nice touch too, and the colors are amazing.

And here's the next flag, this one's from stellato_escuro!

A snail is the perfect mascot to encourage me to "trust"! Wink The details of the shell are awesome! I love the purple sparkle too.

Thank you both!

Okay, I have a medley of flags to post.

First, here's the beautiful flag that Cabaute made for me:

Holy quilting Batman! I love this. Quilting is definitely not my forte, so I can't even understand how this went together but it's very pretty! Cheesy I especially like the little leafy fabric.

Next, here is the flag I made myself. I bought this fabric from the "ends" discount bin at JoAnn's a few years back, and am happy to finally have a use for it!

And lastly, here is the flag I made for Pioneer9, and am posting now that she's received (and doesn't have a camera):

Here is the lovely flag I got from Pioneer9. I adore the fabrics and the octopus is super cute!

Wow, those embroidered leaves are really stunning!

I opened the most amazing box of sunshiney yellow goodness from pinkmichk after work!

The first thing I found was this amazing embroidered tote. Look at that octopus! Sorry the photos aren't super bright, the lighting in my house is terrible.

Next I discovered this amazing octopus necklace

And then this awesome Nightmare Before Christmas Hoopla! I think the scary duck toy is hilarious!

Here I discovered not one, not two but THREE more beautiful necklaces! I love pendant-style and these are perfect.

Not only did pinkmichk make some fantastic crafts, but she totally spoiled me in the extras department. Lookit all this loot! I love those minion socks, and I already have an idea for the fabric. Note: A REALLY TASTY chocolate flake bar had to be sacrificed to ensure sufficient lighting for photographs the next day...

I love all of it so much! I was definitely in need of some sunshine with all of this snow, and pinkmichk delivered! Thank you! Cheesy

Love the desert scene!

Here is Jim Henson and Kermit, by rockingbearranch:

And for my "bird you've never heard of" theme, Acadian Driftwood drew me an Andean Cock-of-the-rock (and yes that's apparently what they're really called):

And from artsycandice for my fuzzy monsters theme. Judging from where the hanging cord is, you view it like this

but I personally like viewing it from this angle

She says she tried something different and isn't sure she liked how it came out, but I think it's super adorbs. You three are so talented! I love them all!

20  Manga Sheldon Cooper Paper Doll in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by ChameleonHound on: January 10, 2015 01:16:51 PM
Hi there!
Here is the paper doll I made for my partner in the Paper Doll Swap. Her interests included Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory and some manga characters, so I decided to combine those into this:

This is my first paper doll. I wasn't sure on the proportions, so I just drew each piece next to the others and estimated the overlap on the joints. I found little paper brads to hold it all together. I also don't draw people very often, so making him manga was a bit easier! I definitely perused some drawing tutorials first.

My partner also had Totoro on her list of favorite characters, but I wasn't sure where to put jointed movable places on him. I decided to send a little one to keep Sheldon company instead. Smiley

C&C welcome! Thanks for looking!
