Here are my notecards from loukr! She really crafted to my interests and did some cool stuff, including funny animal puns, a watercolor technique--and I adore the butterflies punched from a map and the antique looking stamps (these cards have stitching, too). Thanks ladies in Group Awesome! I'd love to do this swap again. Smiley

Received yesterday from Kayrun! The bird stickers are so cute, and I'm in love with the punch she used on the ladybug card! What a great bunch of cards I'll have for swapping!

They are very cute! I like the rounded corners and the stitching--can't wait to send them. Thanks Pauline!

4  Re: Christmas Stocking Swap Round 6!!!! in The Swap Gallery by lindsay614 on: December 02, 2010 05:02:25 PM
I received from Vicious Hyperbolizer. Holy cow Rebekka--you went all out, and I loved everything so much!

When I opened up the package, I saw...

So sweet of her to stalk and find these photos of us on Facebook! Next, there was a whole box of wrapped gifties, even more than shown here. She had gifts for my cat, my hubby, and me!

My cat Murphy's stocking (which can turn into a little hand puppet to taunt him!) and treats...

Kitty exploring new toys, action shot:

Chewy SweetTarts for the hubby, plus a notebook with the slogan for his music website. We both LOVED that you did this! Smiley Hehehe

My stocking, inspired by my love of things with cute faces, and in my favorite colors, green and brown!

Pretty charm bracelet!

Extras, including embroidery floss (disguised in a cigar case!), a jar o' feathers, black polymer clay, sweets (to go inside what you'll see next)...

Awesome Stocking Advent Calendar, pulled from my Wist! I love all the fun colors and fabrics strung along the mantle. Smiley

My very own N-O-E-L frames, also inspired by my Wist.

A candle in a Christmas mug (love this) dreamcatcher, and another bracelet shot

But wait, there's more! A sewn pen/pencil roll, and a low-slung purse with matching fabric

Tried to get a group shot, but cat was in the way. Thanks so much Rebekka! You were a great and thoughtful partner! Hope you have the best Christmas Smiley

5  Re: Sweat Shoppe Ornament Swap Gallery! :) in The Swap Gallery by lindsay614 on: October 06, 2010 06:49:10 PM
I received the cutest red and white striped sweater ornament from cinnamon teal! I really love it! Thanks!

Here is my adorable S'more Winter Sledding ornament! He's a real cutie... Thanks GatorWrangler!

And here's the hot sauce angel! You guys will not believe how tiny the bottle of hot sauce is... I was amazed.  Grin

Update: I LOVE my little gnomes!!

Edit: I received my mittens today, too!

So cute--thanks everybody! I'm ready to do this swap again. =)

6  Re: Sweat Shoppe Ornament Swap (SIGNUPS END TODAY!!) (send by Nov 1) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by lindsay614 on: September 25, 2010 01:17:45 PM
I've made significant progress on my ornaments the last couple days. Introducing... the woodland trees!

Still need to finish off the bottoms neatly and complete the other three--making one to keep. (I decided they will be empty cones instead of being stuffed--they look better this way.)

Would anyone be interested in a pudgy bird like this guy?

I was also thinking these trees might be a cute option:

8  Re: Embroidery Hoopla Swap Gallery (Send-outs Sept 20) in The Swap Gallery by lindsay614 on: September 20, 2010 01:22:40 PM
Miss Barbara received my hoop a day sooner than expected, so I'm posting a photo on her behalf!

It is a button tree with some grass and flowers, in a green hoop. I'm so glad you liked it Miss Barbara! This was my first time using an embroidery hoop.

I received from Miss Barbara!

It is a beautiful birds fabric embellished with thread, floss and beads! My favorite part is the pretty tree ribbon she used around the hoop--I love trees and birds, so she really pegged my interests. Smiley

Thanks Barbara! Yours will be in the mail soon.

10  Re: Yarnies Vs Sewists R2 Gallery Sendouts Changed to September 3 in The Swap Gallery by lindsay614 on: September 07, 2010 05:49:02 AM
I received from spolowitz, who is a very talented knitter! The colors she chose were perfectly suited to my tastes...

First, a purple slouch hat! Side views...

Next, a Dharma initiative washcloth (just like I Wisted!) and another one with a cute owl design. The pics don't do these justice--they are amazing! I think I'm going to have to hang them up as art...

Here are some extras... Cookies, cute socks, a spatula/scraper, lemonade mix, tissues, a notebook and lemon ice cube tray. Cute!

And finally, she made my husband an awesome dark gray scarf that's so soft and intricate. I showed it to him, and he stashed it somewhere I can't find. Spolowitz--if you have any photos to post, please do! Otherwise, I'll snag it from him tonight and update my post. Smiley

Thank you so much--you were a great partner!
