Although... maybe posting pictures would keep everybody on track!  For instance, if they saw that most people in the group had already visited 4 locations, they would get their butt in gear! hehehe!  Not sure if anyone else is doing this, but my partner and I are also thinking of taking "daily life" pictures... we thought it would be more interesting!  So it would be fun to show these off! (And know that our stuffy is having some adventures without us!)

Keep me posted if we are going to start a Flickr group please!

On the same note, we were thinking dgitial print out pics and making a DISC with those JPGS on it for immediate upload to the cpu. Smiley Just ideas!

9  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Harry Potter Scarf Knit-Along? on: September 18, 2005 05:16:01 PM
Grr yet again I am having trouble. I am adamant on using  the circular needle but still have tried over and over on several different yarns to find what I want/need. :/

If any of you could look here and maybe point me out what I am doing wrong, I would appreciate it so much. I'm sure If i do just one stitch right I will snap into the habit of doing it correctly.

K, guys, this is my first swap and I need some help with shipping stuff.
I'm mailing from Canada to the USA and I'm sending my sock monkey. He's not heavy at all (after all, he is a sock and polyfill). So I'm planning on sending him in a envelope... Can I do that? Ah, help! And if I send by regular mail, will that take forever to get to my partner? I would tell you a state but I don't know because grasshopper (my partner) hasn't been on so I have yet to receive her info. Hopefully tomorrow.
So yeah, enlighten a swap virgin?

An envalope might work, however, sometimes they do return to sender if the contents of it are lumpy and unidentifiable. Maybe stick with a small rectangle sized box if you want to avoid complications. Overall, if he is light, don't worry too much about shipping costs. They shouldnt be that expensive. Other than that, I'm out of suggestions.
